dma0034 Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Congrats to Chase for winning this week. I think they won't give it to Joah because the Bills lost Quote
Breakout Squad Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Allen had 6 TD’s which was historic. He was Superman. Chase did have an incredible game with 170 yards and 2 TD’s. Could go either way. Quote
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Another 1st for Allen Leading NFL MVP candidate Josh Allen had the best fantasy performance by a quarterback ever in Week 14, logging an incredible six touchdowns (three through the air, three on the ground) en route to 51.88 fantasy points. The second-best historical QB performance was over six decades ago, in 1961, when Houston Oiler George Blanda would have produced a 49.72-point game. In the league I played in, would have been worth 55 points Quote
WideNine Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Then I expect Stafford should be the NFC's. The few times I have watched Stafford he was either injured, on a terrible team, or working with a piss-poor OL and offensive weapons. He was good, but I did not get that wow factor folks had for him being an elite arm talent. I get it now. Tight window throw after tight window, just dropping dimes out there. It was one heck of a performance from one of the older generation future HOF QBs vs one of the young generation future HOF QBs. 2 2 Quote

bills742 Posted December 11 Posted December 11 (edited) Josh got robbed. They probably didn't want to give it to him two weeks in a row. Edited December 11 by bills742 1 Quote

DapperCam Posted December 11 Posted December 11 The Player of the Week awards are definitely inconsistent in their criteria. It seems like they try to spread around the wealth and get as many teams involved as possible. It is a marketing tool for the league to keep fans engaged. Quote

C'mon now...how the hell do you score 6 TDs, put up 424 yard of offense by yourself and not get offensive player of the week just because you won the week before? Allen suffers from being too great for his own good that people are always looking to ding him for something. Edited December 11 by Big Turk 1 Quote
UKBillFan Posted December 12 Posted December 12 Both decisions seem farcical to me. How can Chase and Darnold be given it over Josh and Stafford/Nacua? Quote

To think there was a point the Lions had Stafford, Calvin Johnson and Suh on the same team and still managed to have some terrible years... like I think they had 4 wins in 2012 when Suh and Megatron had all pro seasons and Stafford threw for almost 5,000 yards. No matter which camp you're in about McD holding us back from a championship, he certainly ain't holding us back THAT much. Quote

I am not sure what more could he have done on such a historic night. 1 Quote
