Success Posted December 5 Posted December 5 I don't care about the stats. Josh Allen is the MVP of the league this year. If he finishes strong, he has to get it. 1 Quote

Check downs brought 18 years of football purgatory? Check downs broought Tom Brady 7 Super Bowls.....used correctly it is the right play some percentage of the time. To be clear I was referring to taking "check downs" as the first option not as a later option. Brady understood this. What was being argued for IMO was the Kurt Cousins check down approach. You know the one where on 4th & 8 at the end of a playoff game you throw a 3 yard completion. 7 hours ago, Neo said: You know I was being sarcastic, correct? I didn't but now I do. My bad. Quote

Put any of the other 30 starting QB's in that game, in that weather, and it would be VERY difficult to put any kind of healthy stat line together let alone a 141.3 rating. I think Mahomes would do OK and maybe Burrow?, and of course Allen. That's the list. On the other hand (pardon the pun), consider hand size: Josh: 10.125" Mahomes: 9.25" Burrow: 9" Remember Purdy's unforced whiff pass in last Sunday's snowstorm? 9" hands. Josh is uniquely built to play in snowy conditions. On 12/4/2024 at 11:52 AM, JerseyBills said: Stefon who? Gabe who? You sure? Quote

Kelly to Allen Posted December 6 Posted December 6 (edited) A bunch of KC fans and Raven fans are crying about Allen getting potw. 😂 They don't think Allen deserved it because e only threw for 150 yards, ( obviously they don't mention Allen sat out the entire 4th qtr) and the game was over before that Edited December 6 by Kelly to Allen Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Don’t see how Josh isn’t going to win it two weeks in a row. Put up record setting stats this week. Quote
Dr.Sack Posted December 9 Posted December 9 I got the MVP as Mahomes. 12-1, clearly putting up a record breaking season. If Goff can beat Buffalo that would help improve his case for MVP, something Mahomes failed to do. 1 Quote

It's almost a lock to go to Allen, Barkley or Goff I wonder if Allen wins Player of the Week again. The next best player was Tua with half the TDs and 100 less total yards Quote

Luckily he’s playing as calm as ever. It’s not like he takes losing personal. Quote
Chandler#81 Posted December 9 Posted December 9 I’m fairly certain he’ll win back to back POTW later this week Quote

Allen is by far the favorite at -400 to -500 with Barkley a distant 2nd at +350 to +550. Goff and Jackson are 3rd at between +1000 and +1400. Edited December 9 by Big Turk Quote

For AFC Offensive Player of the Week, yes, but think the OP was talking about MVP. Burrow won’t get it due to the Bengals record. Him and Josh will be understanding how each other feels at the moment. Quote
