He's like the only one without even a SB appearance. It's so frustrating. Keep the faith, we'll win one within the next 2 years. Quote

I typed out a full response with his records and how he won a playoff game with the Browns before being fired after the move to Baltimore, etc. I'm deciding not to have this debate. Bill Belichick, at worst, is a top 3 coach All-Time. His defenses were key for ALL of Brady's 6 rings in NE. Quote

Well, based on his SB record and his time as a coordinator I would have a hard time arguing against that, but his crap record without Brady is striking. I mean, it sucks. However, you need to wonder if his poor work as his own GM made him look worse after brady left NE. Whatever reason for it, his record without brady is bad. Quote
JakeFrommStateFarm Posted December 6 Posted December 6 (edited) At what point do we stop the nonsense? McDermott is nothing more than a Josh Allen coat tail rider. Are we honestly saying if Rex Ryan were coaching this team his record would be worse ? Edited December 6 by JakeFrommStateFarm 2 Quote

Making the playoffs with Mac Jones may be the most impressive thing Belichick has ever done, in hindsight. Quote

Billsfanatic8989 Posted December 6 Posted December 6 Bill Belichick stunk without an elite QB. He would have one here. So that isn't an issue. He wouldn't be GM. Beane would. I think it's crazy to think he couldn't come in here, make our D even that much better, and get us a SB win. Also, do you think he would be outcoached by Reid? Absolutely not. I'm not advocating for McD's dismissal. Just pointing out my opinion on Belichick. Quote

McDermott took the Bills to the playoffs with the same QB Sexy Rexy was terrible with. The hate for McDermott is really silly. Edited December 6 by todd Quote
