DJB Posted December 9 Posted December 9 (edited) I was screaming at the TV to decline the at penalty making it 4th and 10. Instead we accept , run more clock and the Rams move the ball downfield. Who cares if they kick the FG. We have Allen to score a TD. Put the ball in Josh’s hands. Instead he took the ball from Allen. Horrendous decision by McDermott Edited December 9 by DJB 2 1 Quote
FireChans Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Ha ha ha. Who would want McVay over McD? Can’t believe it. Quote
White Linen Posted December 9 Posted December 9 That 4th and 17 prevent defense was putrid. They got 12 yards. He needs to learn to stop frigging doing that. Quote
BuffBillsForLife Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Never seen a coach with worse decision-making in the clutch, and I watched Eberflus on thanksgiving. Quote
HappyDays Posted December 9 Posted December 9 I take back what I said earlier. He hasn't earned a chance next year no matter what happens in the playoffs this year. I mean it's up to Pegula so it's not like it matters what I think. But the critical coaching failures at the end of close games just never stop. We have by far the best QB in the NFL and our coach lets him down constantly. I can't watch it anymore. 3 Quote
gordong Posted December 9 Posted December 9 LOL. prefect timing... defense crashes and burns, one stop all day against a 6-6 team... super bust. Quote
H2o Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Nope. Opinion hasn't changed on McDermott. The new age Marty Shottenheimer. 1 1 Quote

Billsfanatic8989 Posted December 9 Posted December 9 How many times has Allen balled out only to lose because of McD's expertise...D? We continue to see this year in and year out. And I think we saw today the big difference between a very good and great coach. Quote
Chaos Posted December 9 Posted December 9 going out of there way to let us know they won't be calling holding the jersey Quote
gobills404 Posted December 9 Posted December 9 No. He’s a very good coach but nothing about this season makes me think it will be the one where he finally get us over the hump. Quote
HappyDays Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Had them at 4th and 7 where a FG doesn't really change anything and he turned it down. I really don't get it. Like really, how is it 7 years in and he can't do the simple things right? All the culture and leadership in the world don't matter if you can't coach the critical moments in close games. Because those moments are what win Super Bowls. Quote
Fleezoid Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Mark my words, the Bills will do this in the playoffs. The defense was complete shiiiit Quote
