Dana point is nice part of an old fishing village... South of LA by quite a bit and very kitchy... my Dad live further south but weve passed thru a couple of times... and even took the ferry out to Catalina Island...

Crazy story - over 30 yrs ago my sister lived in a house on a cliff in Dana Point which her and her (now ex) husband rented from the owner who lived in another house on the compound.  The owner built it himself, it was a very quirky house with all different levels/rooms, spiral metal staircases, ship portals for windows etc.

It made the news earlier this year after a landslide - it is the house in the middle in the picture in this article

https://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/three-multimillion-dollar-homes-on-a-cliff-appear-at-risk-of-falling-into-the-ocean

My sister moved long ago - but kind of freaky I visited multiple times - they were in the front A frame right on the edge of the cliff - and spent a lot of time on that deck.  Another sad side story is that while she was living there the owner had terminal cancer - and one day her then husband found his body in the garage - he had blown his head off with a shotgun

Back to football....

Is anyone nervous for the Rams? I wasn't nervous for SF... but I feel like the Rams are a good team just waiting to get in the groove

I'm not nervous about any games right now. Maybe because they clinched. Don't get me wrong. I don't want them to lose, but I just want them healthy.

It’s 4.5 hours north of LA. Buffalo is closer to Pittsburgh than firbaugh is to LA

Josh doesn't live in Firebaugh any more.  He had a smaller house in Orange County then he bought one in Monarch Bay in 2023.  Monarch Bay is a gated community with a private golf course.

It's still like 60 miles away from SoFi stadium and could take 2 hrs to get there.  So I don't think they'll be visiting.

Passing plays into Buffalo defense strength.  Mcvay will see what San Fran was able to do and try to exploit that.  With a returning Carter and Milano knocking off rust I think running will be harder than they anticipate.

I think if McVay tries the run plays that initially succeeded for SF, he may be surprised.  The OL on both sides of the ball were winning against the DL, especially at first, because of the footing.  And McCaffrey is a special player.

I mean, it's possible.  The Bills were 6-6 at one point last season, won out, and won the division.  So it's possible.

As long as our guys stay focused, "humble and hungry", I don't think it's probable.

My assorted Packers, Bears, Bengals and Patriots fan friends also love watching Allen play. They find him to be very entertaining and gritty to watch.

Josh is smart not buying a bunch of mansions.

Josh is smart, but I thought I read somewhere that he bought that house intending to tear it down and custom build

Definitely possible as they are only one game out of the division lead. What we did was sorta impossible. We were 6-6 chasing 8-3.  Not only did we catch them we got the 2 seed!!!  Pretty bonkers.

This is the world we live in. $7.5 million tear downs.

O-line isn't great. I think that's the greatest limitation on their offense.

I was looking over their injury reports and they seem to have a lot of OLmen either out, or on the report many weeks.

The Rams are good, don't underestimate them.

I'd be more nervous if I were a fan of the Chiefs playing the Chargers.

I’m a Bills fan.  I’m nervous about every game.  Take nothing for granted.

Last year they almost lost to an awful Chargers team with a back-up QB and interim head coach in SoFi.

No. This isn’t the Super Bowl Rams. This is mediocre Rams.
