Other than Allen I think Cook will be the key in this game. I think he rushes for over 100 yards with a TD. the rams play fast and aggressive on both sides of the ball. i could see them jumping gaps hard with a lot of bodies near the line, and cook breaking one or two for massive gains. i don't know what the stats are, but it seems like when we have an ideal CJ spiller type of game from cook, like 15 touches 120ish yards and a score, we just either have penalties and and drops and stuff or we walk into the end zone on each drive. the 49er game felt like that. the moment cook broke the big one, you could see the air go out of the sf d, because they knew their scheme was just not going to work vs a hot bills O. allen had like 22 total plays or something, and still produced. it has got to be demoralizing to spend all week keyed on not letting allen role right, simulating pressure, putting in a spy one some plays, disrupting routes to impact timing, and planning to run down allen all the time just to see some heavy jumbo formation lead to a casual home run off of an inside zone run. it's like losing the jab game to mike tyson in his prime, and you know power punches are still gonna be coming. 3 Quote

Doesn't matter. Ocyrus Torrence will destroy them Quote
zow2 Posted December 5 Posted December 5 Is Emmanuel Forbes gonna play? He’s the skinniest guy in the NFL but don’t let the legs fool you, he can run like the wind. But i’d like to see him come up in the box and take on Derrick Henry running downhill. That would be entertainment. Quote

I haven't seen any Washington fans that praised him online, he's pretty universally seen as a massive bust. 1 1 Quote
BearNorth Posted December 5 Posted December 5 Thought it interesting that the Rams team site for week 14 shows Zero injuries. Are they really that healthy?; or is McVay just gaming the system. Find it very hard to believe in Week 14 that an NFL team has no one injured enough to report. 1 Quote

That defensive tackle is 6'6" 310# Chris Jones, arguably the best at his position in the NFL. Most Offensive Lineman facing Chris Jones have bad games. he is relentless and rarely takes a play off. 2 1 Quote

DL over 300 pounds and one of them has been inactive with some regularity. We should just lean on these dudes. Another game of no negative plays on first down so that we dont end up in obvious passing downs against verse. Quote

Most of our core players are signed beyond 2024. If we let Douglas or Hamlin walk, we some depth that could potentially step up and/or we can use some of our draft capital to further shore up the secondary. But the roster is really setup to take BPA in the draft, whether that’s OL, DL, wherever. I personally would love the Bills to find another young WR to add to our stockpile of weapons. 2 1 Quote

Mcvay said Monday he wouldn’t return until next week. I wonder if he is playing Sunday. If he does that is one more offensive weapon to worry about on a team filled with them. 10-2 teams don't worry! We'll go out there and have fun and see what happens 😎 1 Quote
