Interesting no mention of Josh Allen as it did appear he was favoring his left hand and grimacing after plays.  Might have just been his "snow squint".

He said post game it was a hard hit to his funny bone that caused his whole hand to go numb for a few plays.

I don't think our defense is going to give up 30 points to a middle of the road team.

I hope not and it would be way out of character.  On the road, on the turf vs a team that can attack all levels with a terrific veteran qb I woudn't be surprised if they have one of the better offensive performances against us.

Yes.  With a healthy offense and having to win out almost I think it will take 31 to beat them.

Having to win out almost?  Our game is sorta inconsequential.  They need to beat their divisional opponents in 3 of the next 4 weeks.  thats the must wins for them.  if they lose to us it really doesnt hurt them at all and if they beat us but lose to any of them they are pretty cooked.

Edit: played more with playoff machine.  If they beat us and the Jets all it affords them is the ability to lose to SF next week.  Rams just need to go 1-1 against us and Jets if you think Seattle will lose one more game during its remaining tough schedule.

Unlikely.

Wouldn't be surprised if we sacked an immobile QB with a sprained ankle quite often and made their offense look not so great either.

That is equally possible.

I've just been eyeballing this potential letdown since it became clear the SF game was for the division.

I think there is a quiet, unspoken incentive throughout the team to get Josh the MVP.  This could be a fun, loose, "let her rip" type of offensive outburst that puts up some eye-opening stats to help the cause.

That's my optimistic viewpoint and I'm sticking with it.

I hope we do.  He will hold the ball and wait for bigger plays down the field so they will have opportunities.

Rams are averaging 21 ppg, most they have scored all season is 30.  Bills have been 30 or over for last six games, including @ Seattle and '@ Indy.

Hope Dwayne Carter is playing this weekend. I think McDermott said he was full participation at practice today. He was having a good season.

Yeah we only keep hanging 30 + points down 2 of our top 4 receivers....

I hear ya, and seeing what Samuel did in the KC and Indy game gave me hope he can be a good WR 4/gadget guy. I hope this is just precautionary.

Can somebody tell me what "walk-thru practice" actually means?

My take is that it's not a practice on the field with plays, contact, etc. but the teams still project the extent to which each player would actually practice if it were a regular practice.

It’s an actual on-field (or on turf) practice. It is deemed walk-through because it is not a padded practice. Generally players are in helmets only. There will be zero contact, although drills will take place. Here are some examples:

-stretching

-conditioning/rehab

-individual drills (indi)

-interior/perimeter install

- defensive checks/coverages

-routes on air

- specials

For many parts, they will be taking the Xs and Os from film or chalkboard and literally walking through it on the field (recognizing fronts and what play to get into, looking at formations and discussing what coverage they need to be in or how motions will change this, etc)

Then tmrw and Friday will be “uppers/full” contact, but not live ball. There they’ll have their thud but no finish on blocks and tackling, while given the opportunity to refine those new checks, plays, etc against the various new (or old) fronts they’ll see

No big deal, but either the mic is weird or does Josh have some sort of retainer in his mouth?

Maybe fine-straightening his teeth for the upcoming wedding.

S's and a few other times it seems like it... or maybe I'm just hearing things.

Will be a tough challenge for the defense. Kupp and Puka are really good at finding soft spots in a zone defense and picking up YAC. Williams, their RB is pretty solid too.

Time to let Elam get some reps ? show zone switch to man

I am sure they can have their run yards  lol they all do against this D.

 Go Bills

As long as the #1 seed is in play I don't see the Bills having a letdown.

I was thinking this would be even more pronounced when we play Detroit, even the defense being extra focused on shutting Goff down and showing that we have the best team and QB in the league.

Wonder if Samuel foot is turf toe raising it's ugly head again

It seems that "turf toe" is typically a long-term thing.  My hope is they are keeping him limited today and he can be a go this weekend.

They beat Seattle earlier in the year so they control their own destiny If they win out I believe.
