Over at Chiefs Planet they have been discussing this at length.  Not sure what we did to piss them off so much but they absolutely HATE us.  Not talking about the team itself, but the fans and 'Bills Mafia'.   Here are just two examples of what they are saying:

"Dad said some wasted drunk obese **** yelled "I'm GOING TO PUSH THROUGH THESE 9ER FANS" and proceeded to bulldoze his family and knocked his daughter into a chair. Said she's got bruised ribs. In my mind this fits the bills profile to a T. Animals."

"Mouthbreathing fanbase who's entire identity is tethered to a football team...in a hole in the wall city. Angry, desperate people trapped in a nowhere situation...their only release is acting out at a sporting event.

I mean they dive on flaming tables and hit people in the face with dildos...that's what they are known for. Pushing a little girl shouldn't surprise anyone...They are the Juggalos of the sporting world.

If the NFL started again...they wouldn't even have a team. It's amazing the franchise hasn't been sold then moved decades ago."

They actually think we are just a bunch of crude beasts who live to get drunk and throw snowballs and dildos at our opponents when that is such a TINY part of the people who make up the true Bills Mafia.

This is coming from a fan base that was aware and cheering for a one of there own fans who robbed banks no?

I mean we can all throw mud if we'd like to - reality is these types of jack wagons are at every event - I don't care where your from-

I check out their topics from time to time and read through some of their posts.  It's amazing how vile some of the people act on that Chiefs Planet board.  They swear, cuss and say some filthy things.  I don't see that kind of language and behavior on this board.  So to me, many of Chiefs hardcore fans that participate on that board are complete jerks.  It's funny, if one person has something respectful to say about the Bills or Allen, others will step in and obliterate that person's take.  Would i paint the entire KC fanbase as a bunch of jerks based on a few people on a message board? No, but it's ironic to hear them do it about one drunk loser at a Bills game.

As more of this story emerges, shameful.  Absolutely shameful.

I’m still waiting to actually see a shred of credibility. A video, a corroborating story, something. At this point it’s sounding like someone got bumped while going up or down the very steep, narrow, and likely slippery stairs at the game.

Shameful for who?

Yes I’m confused by this lol. The memes have decided to add threw snowballs at her but the parents own words have seemed to make this story not seem anywhere near as bad as it originally sounded

she got bumped and fell in a chair…I’ve had that happen trying to let people by in the upper level

It's just still seems strange

Bills fans while passionate, are absolutely known to be good hosts and certainly not beat up children

The articles on WKBW make it sound like a drunk Bills fan was screaming to the world I'm going to Chuck snowballs at niners fans and push them down the stairs

Yet I don't believe other grown men around that would ever let a man start pushing children

Now the family's talking about wanting to change the atmosphere of Bills games..

Yet it is very family-friendly opposed to 20 years ago

Who’s to say that other grown men didn’t intervene in some way, and/or did not witness exactly what happened?  Police were notified of the incident, the family just chose not to press charges.  Maybe the drunk guy looked like Brock Lesnar, and other grown men figured notifying security was the better move rather than having an MMA fight in a slippery stadium and potentially injuring themselves, getting kicked out of the game, ending up in jail, etc.  Just because we here on TBD don’t have all of the specific details of what everyone around the alleged perpetrator did or didn’t do, doesn't mean an incident didn’t happen.

Mmm..Some 'fans', can't handle, a loss.

There are a number of different venues this is being discussed and commented on.  Not one person (including people who were sitting in that section) noticed anything out of the ordinary.

I didn't say it didn't happen I said it seems strange

Like could a man have shoved a little girl downstairs? Yes... But there is a lot of security in the stadium and there's generally repercussions for doing something to a girl like that

Could a man have accidentally bumped a girl and she fell... Yes

Ive seen lots of people getting taken out by security over the years so there's no reason to believe they wouldn't come to the back of a girl who was assaulted

There should be dozens and dozens of witnesses

It appears that the mother intially made this out to be some type of hit job by an aggressive mob of Bills fans, and now the husband is trying to clear everything up.  Drunk, inconsiderate fans are obnoxious and I am certainly not making any excuses for them.  Should you be shocked that you encountered one at an NFL night game during a blizzard? Probably not.  Sadly, If you are concerned about your small child in a crowd of 70,000, you should probably get seats in the family section.

*The fact that WIVB denigrates "the mafia" while shining a positive light on Antonio Brown is perhaps the most egregious act of all.

Money drives people, to do all sorts, of sordid things....

This is probably true.  It's also probably true of Kansas City.  Frankly, the NFL would probably love it if they moved across the state to St. Louis or down to San Antonio.

I wasn’t saying the drunk fell.

Have you been to a game when they hardly shovel? The stairs are basically icy slides. Brushing your coat against someone else’s can cause you to go down.

Actually, I think this is the major point.  They really need to upgrade their snow removal efforts.

They're currently using a contractor, they pay the contractor X dollars for snow removal.  The contractor takes their cut then designates (X-cut) dollars to hire snow shovelers.  These days, they aren't hiring enough to actually....get the job DONE, so the seats are left full of snow and the stairs become an icy slippery mess.

They need to up what they're paying the contractor to reflect current wage expectations (or go back to adding tickets into the mix), and require that the stadium stairs be cleared in all sections.

San Antonio perhaps.  St Louis, no, the NFL hates St Louis.  Let 2 teams move away from St Louis.

30k in a GoFundMe account with no real details

Child abuse is disgusting yet where is the people who were in the section... Where's the security

There's just a lot of accusations with not a lot of back up to the claims... Like WKBW is trying to make Bills fans as monsters now ... Yet we host thousands of opposing fans every week and we are always considered one of the better hosts in the league

We are literally salt of the earth people for the most part.. there are very few people who would hurt children willingly in a crowd

That's what makes this... Different

I would like to hear from some other people in the section

Where is WKBW making Bills fans into monsters?  Link?

I think most objective and rational people realize one drunk idiot doesn’t equate to every single Bills fan.  In addition, we all mistakes, so even the drunk fan may not be a bad person, just maybe used bad judgment in the situation.

Maybe I used harsh words... But the headline of the article is literally family calls for change after young Western New York cancer survivor bad experience at first game

Then it just quotes his father talking about the game... Where he says Bills fans behind him specifically said they were targeting niners fans with snowballs all game in the head

Then the father said a man said.."Well, I'm going to barrel through these Niner fans anyways,'"

So we were painted out as people who maliciously throw snowballs at opposing fans and just shove them for no reason but that's not Buffalo

They've supposedly never been to a game before and they're painting us all like bad people... A lot of bills fans would whoop a guy's ass if they saw that

WIVB said

We don’t want to go back because I felt uncomfortable and I just don’t feel ready to go there anymore,” Mia said.

Mia and Mike said they hope what happened raises awareness to what some kids are going through — even though they are battling for their life, they still are out there trying to enjoy it.

“I know that there’s competitiveness and whatnot, but there’s a point where it’s a family event,” Mike said.

“I just want to help and not be rude,” Mia said. “I’m just there to be a nice girl and just have fun.”

Ralph Wilson stadium is absolutely a lot more family-friendly than it was 20 years ago and 99% of people would never tolerate anything like what happened... Bills fans are not the problem

Oh god, the Sabres are one of the quietest/most family friendly arenas in the NHL.

I hope Terry misses this point.

But also, a similar franchise, the Packers, have snow blowers built to fit in the aisle of the seats. It’s totally crazy to me that the Bills haven’t shelled out for this considering that have some of the heaviest snow falls in the league.

So now theyve added the details that bills fans were throwing snowballs at their heads?

Probably will work to extend the story another day for $15k
