Best I've felt about the bills since 2020

I thik I will enjoy the season with no expectations come playoff time.

I can't go that far yet but I certainly feel better about their chances at this point in the season than I ever have in the McDermott/Allen era. Nobody can deny the team has a special feeling about it. By jettisoning several long time starters Beane may have made our roster worse, but he made our team better. A couple very solid drafts laid the foundation for the second window and it opened sooner than anybody anticipated.

This team feels like the 1996 Packers imo. Very similar roster and QB. Hof pass rusher brought in to be a closer. Mid season trade for established wr. Dynamic return man. Excellent homefield and especially in December and January

I loved that team...the Super Bowl was also held in New Orleans that year🤔

Part of the oddity this season comes down to competition in the AFC.  KC is still good, but seem off.  They'll make their playoff run I expect.  BAL will be there and is concerning because their run game is problematic for Buffalo's run defense.  None of PIT, HOU, LAC, DEN concern me at this point.  

 

Ironically, I remember that 1990 season and Buffalo playing at NYG (which was 12/15 also) and winning.  Ended up being the SB preview.  

 

Bills play Lions on 12/15...that would be a heck of a SB.
