Doc Brown Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Lost in this is how much of a great play that was by Cooper. In the snow catching a bullet reaching back with one hand, securing it, and then having the mental awareness to flip it to your new QB. Special stuff. 8 27 5 7 Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Yup, Josh admitted immediately it was a poor pass. Amari was just as spectacular on that play as Josh. When these 2 get on the same page...look out. 3 4 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted December 2 Posted December 2 At this point there should just be a website where amazing Josh Allen plays are readily available for us to watch on demand. JoshHub would be a huge success. 3 2 2 5 1 Quote

Amari one handed a pass that was thrown off-target to his side and secured it. Then was enough "on page" with his new QB to flip it to him, while being tackled. High level play by Cooper. SageAgainstTheMachine Posted December 2 Posted December 2 We're into Josh's avant garde "How is that even scored?" phase. 1 8 1 1 Quote
Sweats Posted December 2 Posted December 2 By that point, the look on the Niners faces was they just wanted to get the hell out of there. 2 3 3 Quote
Saint Doug Posted December 2 Posted December 2 (edited) I’ve watched this a few times now. It’s not really clear this was actually a TD. Wish there were better angles. Edited December 2 by Saint Doug 1 1 2 5 Quote

There were plenty of angels, snow angels......The only argument against a TD in this case would be Cooper's forward progress being stopped but at that point I don't think anyone cared, even the 49ers 😂 Quote
DrDawkinstein Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Check out the comments on the /r/NFL subreddit post. EVERYONE is worshiping at the alter of Josh. Bills fans, 9ers fans, Chiefs fans, Dolphins fans, Lions fans... no one can deny his greatness. 1 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Allen went from 9 mph to 16 mph in 1.8 seconds to get to the pylon per Next Gen Stats 2 Quote
zow2 Posted December 2 Posted December 2 So great. Give the man his MVP... and they pulled him with 12 mins remaining! Think about all the accrued stats left on the table and cool plays if it was a closer game. 1 Quote

The awareness, reminds me of Hollins (against the Colts) making the sliding grab downfield and having the mental awareness to still get up and get out of bounds. Edited December 2 by ddaryl 1 Quote
Bruffalo Posted December 2 Posted December 2 It's the most insane and dynamic TD since the Philly special, but the fact that this was improvised is just amazing. A lateral in a snowstorm for a TD is just nutty. 2 3 Quote
QB Bills Posted December 2 Posted December 2 To piggyback off others' comments, what an incredible play by Cooper. To be able to first catch that poorly thrown pass in that weather and then having the wherewithal to toss it back. Just really heady stuff by him. And of course, hell of a finish by Allen. Play of the year so far. 3 1 Quote

Play of the year so far. And it only happened because Josh followed up on a bad throw. He realised he'd put Cooper in a bad position and wanted to be as close as he could be in case there was a turnover. He was preparing to put himself in harms way because he wanted to help the team. And got paid back in return. 5 Quote

DCofNC Posted December 2 Posted December 2 That was just awesome no matter how you look at it. At first I was like “oh bad pass”, which quickly turned to “No F****** way!”. Amazing play by Cooper really and Josh w a great finish. I ALMOST couldn’t believe Collinsworth not help himself and had to bring up KC, but of course he did. 3 Quote
