I was too young to witness the Jim Kelly days and didn't see my first bills playoff game (that I remember) in 2017 against Jax

 

So to me it's wild that they have won the division for the last 5 years

Listen man, a fan who hops on the bandwagon is no less a fan than the ones who stuck through the tough times. But the ones that still support, in their entirety as much during the dark days as they do the successful ones are the truest.

Josh Allen era has five straight seasons as division champs. Only one trip out of those 5 seasons to the AFC championship. 

 

It has been fun to watch and I'm hoping just like all bills fans that they can at least get to one. 

 

It would seem to me though if Josh Allen was able to get into the big dance you know he'd want to get there again. And again.

 

I really want to see this team go all the way. I want to watch Josh Allen hoist the Lombardi.

Actually, 92 they finished 2nd and made it as a WC. Only time between 88-93 they didn’t win the AFCE.

Well I’m on 30+ myself but there wasn’t a stretch in Bills history like the 18 before Josh. 
 

Late 60s to early 70s; just came off the AFL success. 

 

Late 70s; playoffs (with success) sprinkled on either side

 

 

and then early to mid 80s; the super bowls followed

 

that 18 year period after the music city was brutal. 2 winning seasons, barely; 1 win above .500. No playoffs. The only consistency was bad or average footbal teams after Wade bounced the HC gig. 
 

Don’t like to use “deserving” as it really is a form of entitlement but man, you deserve to see them hoist the title if it’s been 50+ for you. 
 

That’s almost all the worst parts of our history you’ve supported. Whilst I hope history repeating doesn’t ever happen, I do hope to emulate the passion fans like you, my father and other lifers of the team have given at an unwavering state.

Like many loyal/true fans have mentioned, it is a terrific time to be a Bills fan and I don’t take it for granted. 
 

While getting the 1 seed would be ideal, most importantly we need everyone healthy for the playoff run.

I'm 50. I went to games in the 80's when the Bills went 2-14. I was at Kay Stevenson's last game as head coach (It was against the Vikings and Bills fans had paper bags over their heads). My early experience with Bills football was LOSING. I was also at Jim Kelly's first game as a Bill against the Jets ("giving him the business" game). We lost that game, but Jim tripped, got back up and threw a TD. I knew that was different. I remember getting Ickey Shuffled. I remember Ronnie Harmon dropping that pass. I lived through the 4 SB losses, and the Music City Forward Pass. I lived through the drought. This is the golden age. Enjoy this.

I love all the comments about the lack of talent on the Bills roster.

 

I know these geniuses get paid for having an opinion, but do any of them actually do any research to support their utterings?  The obvious place to start was with all the first years starters from last season in Benford, Benard, Torrence, Kincaid, Cook and Shakir.  All those guys played great last season and got better as the year progressed.  It seems to me it was more likely they'd build on last season, especially as the team last season went 7-2 down the stretch anchored by Josh and the kids.  The team also returned 17/18 starters depending on how one views Von Miller.  Since Brady became the Bills OC, the Bills are 17-4.
