Maybe you try to field a return at your own 40, since a muff can't be advanced. Even if you lose it the D has a chance. At the 10? Don't put the defense in that position trying to save a couple yards.

Good decision to not call for a fair catch.  Getting 5 extra yards wasn’t worth a potential muff.
