PayDaBill$ Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 MVS is having a productive run in New Orleans. Why couldn’t we have made better use of him in our scheme? 2 1 2 1 3 Quote
The Firebaugh Kid Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Somebody is watching the ravens game also L O L. If not they were just talking about it. Literally having the same discussion right now with a bunch of people. Must be an attitude thing or he didn’t like blocking in the run game or something. 1 Quote
NoSaint Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Could just be dumb luck (good and bad) with a guy that’s always been boom or bust and very inconsistent 4 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Well here's the big difference. No one respects Derek Carr and their WR weapons and the they have Alvin Kamara who is their one true weapon so every team sells out to stop him which means the safeties are down further. The Bills most teams play us in zone because of our QB who can both throw and kill you against man coverage with his legs. Teams don't allow the Bills to go deep often. They make the Bills matriculate down the field. MVS strength is getting deep, hence more success with the Saints. 5 2 1 Quote
RunTheBall Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Because Josh’s deep ball has sucked for over a year. He’s missed wide open guys more often than not on the deeper routes. 6 1 6 Quote
thenorthremembers Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 He's a 9 route specialist and our Quarterback doesnt throw a good 9 route. 4 3 Quote

Actually picked him up in my fantasy league against Cleveland and I’ve been following his productivity. 1 Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Josh's only weakness is MVS only strength. Plus our coaching staff like the slow plodding blocking WR as the #4 WR. 1 1 Quote

He’s never been good at hitting vertical routes he’ll have flashes here and there but overall he throws them too low and hot. 1 1 Quote

The TD's are a pretty big deal tho, right? He has 4 TD's in 4 games. Buffalo doesn't have a WR with more than 3 all year. 1 1 Quote
Straight Hucklebuck Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 The answer is of course he’d be better than Jalen Virgil. He faded out of the rotation in training camp according to Buscaglia and much like Edwards, he could never climb the depth chart after that. Quote
