Should be loss of a down for the offense if they commit penalty. Not the same standard at all. Slap on the wrist for offense, lashings for defense. Reverting back to the way penalties used to be imo would be best The one penalty on defense that definitely needs to be eliminated is calling Offside. The D used to be able to jump back onsides, unless contact was made. 2 Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Lamar is so lucky. He should have 2 ints + 1 lost fumble. 1 1 Quote
DapperCam Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Ravens can’t play from behind. They better hope they never fall behind in the playoffs… 1 1 1 Quote
HappyDays Posted December 2 Posted December 2 I still say the way to beat the Ravens is focus on shutting down the run first and take your chances with the ball in Lamar's hands on 2nd/3rd and long, ideally clogging up the middle of the field. Lamar's going to make some big plays occasionally but it's better than letting them slowly bleed your defense out over long punishing drives. And they don't have the outside WRs to really punish you for that strategy. 2 Quote
ProcessImproverMan Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Lamar proving once against his MVP title was an affirmative action title. Dude is exposed again 1 3 Quote

Having said that I still doubt that he could beat a playoff team with his arm if he had to (and I think he will have to). I'll believe that when I see it. Still not seeing it... 1 2 Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted December 2 Posted December 2 I honestly can't remember the last time I saw them measure for a first down. I almost thought it was not done anymore Quote
UKBillFan Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Time wise the Eagles-Ravens game has almost caught up with the Buccaneers-Panthers match up, even though it started twenty minutes later. Quote

They will easily win 2 of their remaining games. Giants, Steelers, Texans, Browns - Giants are an automatic win and they're not losing three straight. And I can't imagine a 10 win team not making it this year. Dolphins and Colts both need to win out to get 10 wins. No way that is happening for either team IMO. Dolphins have an outside chance I guess. Edited December 2 by HappyDays Quote

UKBillFan Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Seahawks-Cardinals in the late slot for CBS next week. Bit of a come down considering the two weeks before it and week after it. Quote
Scott7975 Posted December 2 Posted December 2 I don't see the Ravens missing the playoffs but they could dwindle themselves down to drawing the Bills in the first round. Quote
Ralonzo Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Best case is Ratbirds get the ball back with ~1:15 down 2 scores and no timeouts. I think this one is sorted. Quote
Steptide Posted December 2 Posted December 2 It's weird watching the muti game channels on Sunday ticket, and then putting on one game. I feel like I'm on the field Quote
