Having to spy him and play contain rushes creates a lot of extra time and space for them to work with, imo

It is amazing to me how they can dial it up so well, and really come out to play like this against the Eagles then look flat and bored against the next team.

Bryce Young has completely turned it around since coming back from the bench. Good for him, genuinely.

I agree said this last week against KC where he had his best game but even in the two prior games where he threw for less than 200 yards, he looked more poised and in better command of what was being asked of him and where to go with the ball. Sitting him down for those couple of games might have been the best thing possible for him.

It's got to be a matchup issue.

I swear if your 3 primary weaknesses are SS, slot and OLB they will eat you alive.

But if you're good there, you can make them struggle to sustain offense.

Lamar is such a mediocre passer. I don't care how many bombs he throws.

I think he, Allen, and Mahomes are actually very alike in the way that they will all occasionally miss easy throws that even average QBs always hit. But the number of game changing plays they make with their individual talent more than makes up for it, and that's an understatement.

Burrow threw a pick and had two fumbles (one returned for a TD) too.  The offense at least deserves some of the blame.

Today granted, but the today's game in isolation hasn't cost them. Across the season they have an excellent record on offense.

Lamar Jackson today has thrown to wide open players and one prayer that was as likely to be picked as caught for the TD.

That TD wasn't likely to be picked. It was man coverage (I'm 90% sure) and he threw it to a spot where only his target could get it. Just because there are bodies in the area doesn't mean it's a poor decision. Every defensive player was sticking with their man.

The TE made a great play to run back towards the QB going through DB contact to make the catch. It was super risky, unless Jackson knows that player will do that sort of thing every time.

I would call him slightly better than average passer.  His athleticism helps him tremendously but as he ages he won’t be nearly as good in the passing game, which will make him miss a solid 5 years before he gets to career end manning level.

Well yeah, of course he trusts Mark Andrews to gain leverage like that... That is a trust throw but the trust has been well earned. Nothing dangerous about that throw. Ironically it's the kind of tight window throw that Lamar has been criticized for being unwilling to make. This year he's making them.

Meh, we just nit pick them harder because of their greatness.

Baker and his ilk have their fair share of easy whiffs. You just don't notice them as much.

I haven't really got into the QBs at all yet. I have seen a couple of Miami games and there is something there with Cam Ward but he doesn't scream can't miss type talent. Have only seen highlights of Deion's kid and honestly bringing the circus to town would give me pause about hitching my franchise to him however good he is.

Cam Ward over Sanders, like Stroud over Fields and Daniels over Williams.

Terrible miss on that false start by the iggles

Every scoring play is reviewed, isn't it? Shouldn't the false start be picked up on?

"I don't care about the evidence, so I'll just make something up!"
