They want him to get some live game snaps. If the field conditions are that bad he’ll play less. Exactly. He is ready to play injury wise. Now they are just looking to get him back in routine and football shape. 1 Quote

With the less than ideal field conditions tonight I'm not sure if they want to expose him in his first action back to slippery fields and cold weather where its hard to loosen the muscles up. Quote

HappyDays Posted Sunday at 11:07 PM Posted Sunday at 11:07 PM Sucks but I'm okay with it. I'd like to see Samuel continue his upwards trajectory from the KC game. And hopefully Cooper is fully worked into the offense and gets like 75% of snaps. 2 2 3 Quote

Well yeah, it's different... but I've seen nothing but positive things that he's shown in both, so just curious why you would feel concerned about him being in game shape? Quote

Excited to see if Samuel can repeat what he did last game and like you said a (hopefully) healthy Cooper. 1 Quote

If he's not 100% and all indications are he wasn't since he was in a red contact jersey all week coupled with bad field conditions and the play of Samuel improving I could see why they would sit him next week. It's more ideal to return Milano and Coleman on higher counts next week in LA where the weather will be safer for injuries. 1 1 Quote

There will be plenty of other better game conditions that Milano can ease his way back in. Bernard has been impeccable. Why rush it is all I'm saying. This game is VERY important, imo. What are you going on about? Bernard plays a different position than Milano. Milano is going to be on a strict snap count, he’s going to get a few plays here and there. The field will be perfectly fine, he’s over a year out of a fracture with no ligament injury. You are just making stuff up to worry about. 1 Quote
