Even if he doesn’t play, it’s good that the Niners will need to spend time accounting for the possibility. they'll play their regular defense and cover Coleman if he plays. If he doesn't play they'll cover the WR that does play. That's so overrated. Quote
zow2 Posted Sunday at 05:09 PM Posted Sunday at 05:09 PM Make no mistake, the Bills *should* win this game. BUT as much as people want to talk about winning the AFC East or playing for the 1 seed… this is not a must win game for the Bills. This is absolutely a must win game for San Francisco. The Bills will win the East, it’s a foregone conclusion. They might get the 1 seed if KC drops a couple down the stretch. But the next must-win for Buffalo won’t take place until the second week of January. Hopefully they can have fun and play loose, enjoy the moment and win tonight. Most of all, however, the important thing is keeping the core guys healthy especially #17. That is key for January when the elimination games start. 1 1 Quote

A couple favorable outcomes in the other NFC West games today and the Niners are still one game out of 1st even with an L tonight. 3 Quote

I get it. But if the Bills were sitting where the 49ers are at, we’d be saying this is a must win game. Because I don’t think the NFC West is getting a wild card. It’s looking like they will have to win the division to get in. Quote

Reports I saw this morning seemed to indicate the bands moved south earlier/more than expected. Since this is a Sunday night game, the NFL will not want to move it and vacate that window. The Bills also wont want to move it and I think day of is kind of too late for that unless there were some extreme change at this point. 1 1 Quote

RichRiderBills Posted Sunday at 06:48 PM Posted Sunday at 06:48 PM (edited) It's not "must win" for 49ers, but they likely see it that way. Hags losing and Cards tough game in Minn...just a bad division this year . I see whoever wins div with 8 losses. A lot to overcome for 49ers tonight. Night game, long trip, bad weather, prime time...Allen nearly unbeatable at home in Dec. ....then all the injuries. Not to mention QB has been limited the whole week.
