You do know that there has been a guy playing Milano’s position literally the entire season, right?

Well, I meant ability wise but even that was incorrect.  I'll be more careful with my wording so as to not get swallowed whole in here.

If he has issues, it won't be because of the cracked tibia a year ago that included no ligament damage.

It'll be about speed reading and confidence in his decisions.

I agree. Everything is happening at real speed.  It will be interesting to see what happens.

Orchard Park could be under clear skies in just over an hour

Wind field looking very manageable also with a sustained SSW breeze barely around 10mph

😄 I don't find it easy to give things up. It's a blessing and a curse.

I think he was talking about your job! 😅

Oh! I could easily give that up if I didn't need the money.

milano being ready for playoffs with game exp and getting up to game speed is needed for the playoffs more than winning this game...but

if we cant beat sf in the condition they are now we dont belong in the playoffs

We need this game.  There will be plenty of other better game conditions that Milano can ease his way back in.  Bernard has been impeccable.  Why rush it is all I'm saying.  This game is VERY important, imo.

We need every game equally if we want a chance for first overall. This game is as good as any other.

You know he hasn't played a single snap of football on that knee in 15 months. How did Von and Tre  look after 15 months. Terrible. Give him a dry surface to get his confidence.

This ridiculous approach to injuries happens all the time.  Regardless of the situation,  always a bunch of fans that want the player to continue to sit out... to be safe.

He's ready to play, so play him.

Is a wet surface risky for his bicep injury?

Milano is on a pitch count.  I don’t think they’re planning on overusing him.  They want him to get some live game snaps.  If the field conditions are that bad he’ll play less.

We could lose by 50 and we'll still belong in the playoffs.

Well Seattle pulled their game out in the 4th Qtr and Arizona pulled out a late loss after leading the entire game.

SF now 1.5 games behind the Seahawks heading into tonight.  Big game for them.

Plus the bottom of the seedings will be tough for them to breach. The Commanders are the current seventh seed on 8-5. A defeat tonight for the Niners will take them to 5-7. Not impossible, but not easy.

That's true.  No argument there, but if you lose this one then the mountain gets higher with KC's incredible luck, which worm I am hoping will soon turn.  Not saying it's insurmountable but it would be easier considering we got the Lions in their house upcoming.

Im not a gambler. Just curious... what was the final spread for the game?

It’s back up to bills -6.5.  Dipped briefly down a half point

Any player will tell you that working out and practice is a different animal.

Ok, we will find out tonight.

??

You mean practice and game?

So is the latest that they have cleared the field and they expect no more snow?

Very probably.

No 100% with this stuff, but the snow band has sagged south of the stadium area and will not likely move N again before the game is over.

Bernard and Milano play different positions
