The only arguably worse position group on the team is DT, and that’s a stretch

How is LB a weak position group?  Bernard is the team captain and an all-pro level player and Williams is a plus starter.

It strengthens the depth which was awful.  Pretty sure that’s what he was getting at

I think some people (I might be one of them) were thinking "safety".

So first, it’s possible for LB to be our weakest group without it being awful.  Because the Bills are an excellent and deep team.  The weak points on the team are few.

Bernard is an excellent player who can get exposed against downhill running schemes.  Dorian Williams is a commendable spot starter but I’d say overall an average starter.  And then the depth scrapes the bottom of the barrel.  Milano at full strength can take this group from C+ to A- all by himself.

Did they elevate Mike White so he could be Milano's tackle dummy on the sideline?

Someone else gave an answer to this and this is exactly why we have a great organization..

The FO has a tendency to elevate practice roster players when they don't need someone in the spot toward the end of the year so they get a game check.

Thats good leadership right there

Yes, think they kept a slot open for him.

Yes.  The Bills did not sign or activate any player after they put Baylon Specter on IR.

Calling out LB and DT before Safety is wild to me. IMO it's far and away the weakest. Rapp is our best Safety and he's played well, but he's not an All Pro or a Pro Bowler. And beyond that, we're starting Damar Hamlin and underneath them is Cole Bishop who hasn't looked great (although I give him a pass this season because he's a Rookie learning a complicated system and missed all of Training Camp and the Pre-Season) and Cam Lewis (who has performed well in spot duties, but isn't Starting material).

Yeah, people should temper expectations IMO for the next few weeks. Milano is basically in Pre Season game mode. I would expect to see him get something like 8-12 snaps this week. Slightly more next week and so on. Barring injury to Williams, of course.

This is definitely the way to handle it. We need him healthy & sharp come playoffs.

And for once, it looks like guys will be coming back at the right time instead of losing them at the worst time. Just need Amari, Coleman & Kincaid healthy, and we're in business!

Another great thing about having Milano back is that it gives us a bit more leeway if anyone else gets hurt. Obviously, I hope no one gets hurt, but Bernard got injured in the playoffs last year. If that happened, it'll be a major benefit having Milano there.

I did completely forget about safety, I think I tend to lump them into the secondary as a whole

I'd really like to know what's behind elevating Mike White this week.  No injuries reported at QB, but maybe someone is ill. If so, I hope it's not 17. (sorry Mitch!)

We're planning on being up by 50 at some point. Throwing a homie a game check before the holidays.
