Mister Blue Sky.

Sorry @Gugny  @SinceThe70s  @ExWNYer   I thought he was the most passionate Mets fan I came across in the years I used the site.

He had some pretty funny I’ll call them old school takes on life as well.

I definitely remember he had health concerns going on though.  So I kind of fear the worst.

Blue Sky was a big Mets fan and had a relative (nephew?) who had a cup of coffee as a pitcher with the Mets.

DC Tom

He is here under a different name. He very very seldom posts. Someone has to be a real idiot.

Slim Shady's Air force or something like that.  He used to be around like a lot than disappeared.

He self eliminated himself here is the best way to put it.

I looked through that old thread.....  was Kevin Kobell he mentioned.  Was cousins with him I believe.

Yeah..   going through that old thread again even in Spring Training games he had some strong opinions on the team.

How about Chef Jim?  He had that distinct avatar I think of Chef from South Park I recall well.

The few times I ventured into the political part of the site he was pretty active there.

I recall him from some threads on this part of the site too.   I def remember him saying he didn't like celebrities in general and I think he was more a former Buffalonian vs a die hard Bills fan.

If you happen to run into @Chef Jim, please give him some advice. Any advice, it really doesn’t matter what.

He's been gone for a bit now but one of his last times popping in here he mentioned he doesn't log on too much anymore and also think he said he hadn't been paying too much attention to the Bills anymore.

@row_33 was a big-time and knowledgeable baseball fan too. On the football side I'll always credit him for suggesting that instant replay should only be done with real-time replays. It'll never happen - the general public seems to demand the Zapruder-ish slo-mo replays that all too often don't result in a consensus call anyway.

I asked regarding row_33 a couple of years back, and it was speculated that he died during the Covid 19 wave.

this has been discussed in the musical thread. But @WhoTom passed away and he left a youtube I will post here. RIP

It’s not brief, but it’s beautiful.  I highly recommend you give it a click when you have a chance.

Dare I bring his name up but I did like Icebowl that Packers fan who used to post here sometimes.  Seemed a nice guy and give outside perspective.

I think though it sounded like he ghosted everyone when they actually wanted to meet him or something like that.

this was my guess well.  he was a pretty active poster, and suddenly stopped.  i remember looking for him, and he disappeared right around march of 2020 when the world shut down.  never saw a single post after that.  i knew he was a big guy, so i assumed covid may have done him in.  for him to suddenly disappear wasn't like him.
