Billyhouseman Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Who here would honestly say "Oh no I want the chiefs at their best, now they have an excuse built in!" Or who here would give the "Jerry Seinfeld" "That's a shame" sarcastic remark.... The dude is getting pummeled by his crap offensive line and it can legitimately happen.... Same with Lamar too 2 3 1 Quote
BillsFan130 Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I genuinely never want a player to get hurt unless you're a player like Deshaun Watson for which I could care less. But if Mahomes had to miss a game against the bills and he came back 100 percent healthy next year, that wouldn't break my heart.. 2 2 Quote
Doc Brown Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Knowing our luck, Carson Wentz will have a concussion that takes him back to his 2017 self. 2 6 Quote
KingBoots8 Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I’ll never actively cheer for an injury, but the truth is every team has to deal with them. KC caught us last year with half our starting defense out or banged up. If another team is missing a start it is what it is. There’s no asterisk in the record books if the other team lost because they were banged up. 2 Quote

I’d rather that our Bills would become the Chiefs daddy every time we play them, regardless of who they got playing at QB. 1 1 Quote
QB Bills Posted November 30 Posted November 30 If I could pick anyone from that roster to miss a playoff game against the Bills, it's definitely Chris Jones, not Kermit. 2 2 2 1 Quote
Neo Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Call me nuts. I want them at their best. Us, too, of course. No asterisks. A de-throning. 3 3 Quote

You don’t get extra titles for “becoming their daddy.” Chris Jones is a dominant player. No reasonable person, including Chris Jones, would say that they’re a better team with Jones and no Mahomes. If you “want them at their best” you aren’t crazy; you’re a Chiefs fan. Edited November 30 by Kirby Jackson 5 Quote

Of course we all rather that happen….. but none of us would be heartbroken (as dude said) if Mahomes were to be out and we were to beat them. 2 Quote

That lion has no teeth…that emperor has no clothes anymore. The Bills are just waiting with the fork. Edited November 30 by dollars 2 donuts 1 1 Quote

Wanting your partners and your competitors to be at their best is an approach to life. It’s grounded in confidence and accountability. It’s served me well. For your consideration - there is a satisfaction level associated with winning when your opponent is at his best that’s not present when you win against the wounded. Nothing is more gratifying or humbling. To my opponents - bring it. 1 Quote

Nothing is more gratifying or humbling. To my opponents - bring it. I want the Bills to win a Super Bowl. I assumed that we all wanted that. Moral victories, in pro sports, don’t matter. They don’t ask “how?” They ask “how many?” Right now that answer is 0. Our mentality needs to evolve from “satisfaction in good wins” to “expectations of championships.” Ideally, we would play Skylar Thompson, Easton Stick, Carson Wentz and Daniel Jones. That’s much better than Herbert, Lamar, Mahomes and Goff. Keep your eye on the prize. Edited November 30 by Kirby Jackson 5 Quote

I don’t think that chiefs front 7 could do much of anything without jones in the lineup and that whole spagnuolo scheme would completely fall apart. As many accolades as he gets Chris jones is still underrated somehow if wentz is your classic Chad henne backup qb level then yea I don’t think you’d take a mahomes injury over a jones injury 😂 Quote

Same with Lamar too I would ! I want Josh and the boys to beat all of them straight up with most of their starters so there is no excuse what so ever ... Quote

Gugny Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I wouldn’t care if the Bills face nothing but opposing teams’ practice squads on their way to a Super Bowl championship. In fact, I’d prefer it. 2 1 3 Quote
