BearNorth Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 12/28/63. I was 15 years old. Bills were hosting Pats for the right to go to the AFL title game. Snowed that week heavily. Tickets were my "big" Christmas present. Our seats were in the bleachers towards the East end of the stadium [left center field in baseball]. Instead of shoveling the bleachers, they had gone around with a garbage can and made seats on top on the snow covered wooden board seats. I was 15 and immune to cold [haha] my dad, who already had some arthritis from a WW2 injury, went with me and probably was in agony but never said a word. Bills lost that day, 26-8 but regrouped and won the next two AFL titles. Buffalo's only score was a 93-yard pass from Daryle Lamonica to Elbert Dubenion in the third quarter, with a successful two-point conversion to cut the lead in half. That's my Bills snow game memory. 3 1 Quote

It would have been a great addition to the city, and fewer lake effect events They absolutely could have. But could, woulda, shoulda... No point in complaining now (though that probably won't stop me the first time snow screws us over in the new stadium) 😅 Quote

In those days inclement weather game tickets could be found for $5 and up. I shoveled in 1994 and got to see the Bills/Chiefs AFC Championship. Joe Montana's last game. 1 1 Quote

Wondering if that has changed. Quote

Until one evening someone pulled a knife on me in the seats in the scoreboard endzone. Never went back after that. Quote
