If they don’t get enough people, they will have to offer something more enticing. That’s how free markets work. Also, I don’t think money is the only reason people participate in this. EDIT: $20/hour is over $40k/year. That’s not nothing. . It’s not that great these days, especially when you get 1099’ed. Maybe give a bonus for the ones who don’t pull out their phones to check social media every 3 minutes. 1 Quote

Shovel for a few hours with friends and family making memories ... Easy peasy for an 18 year old Then when you're 50 you could talk about how I shoveled out Ralph Wilson stadium with my father and it's a memory Edited November 30 by Buffalo716 2 1 1 Quote

Wacka Posted November 30 Posted November 30 (edited) Was at the -20 degree wind chill game. Three layers of clothes, chemical hand warners, and newspaper (what's that?) on the seat and concrete for insulation. Another game we wore tyvek suits (brother worked at CECOS in NF then). Bad idea. Was warm but they keep the sweat inside. We were drenched by the 4th quarter. A few years ago, went to the Jets sunday night last game of the regular season. Was 5 degrees by end of game. Never again. Had trouble walking to Hammers lot from the scoreboard end of the stadium. Legs were so cold, didn't want to work. Never again. September or October games for me. Big Turk Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Worst of all the lake band has been delayed moving north by several hours now pushing the snow into game time as well most likely and lessening the time the shovelers will have time to clear as the heaviest snow is expected overnight tonight 1 minute ago, Bills!Win! said: I don’t Remember the jets playing here on a Sunday night It was a long time ago...I could have went to that game because a family friend was offering their tickets since they didn't want to brave the cold and I was like "nah, I'm good..." It was in the drought years, wasn't about to sit thru that for a garbage team. Quote
Wacka Posted November 30 Posted November 30 It was maybe 3 years ago. Could have been a monday night. I think it was the week before we creamed NE in the playoffs Quote

I just think offering just $20 is a cheap look for a premier organization. Like let's stick if to the fan as much as we can get away with. Heck, they should actually offer a free future meet and greet with some players, a tour of the stadium, or watching of practice. Now that would attract people. A meet and greet and tour of the stadium, some autographed practice footballs or whatever besides the pay etc...would be awesome! 1 Quote
