A 50% off coupon at the Bills Store or a bogo on Sabre tickets for anyone who works an 8 hr. shift.

Of how about a $100 gift card to the Bills store? I am not shoveling only to have to spend more money at the Bills store.

For those who think $20/hour isn’t enough, don’t do it. It’s just that simple. If they don’t get enough people, they will have to offer something more enticing. That’s how free markets work.

Also, I don’t think money is the only reason people participate in this.

EDIT: $20/hour is over $40k/year. That’s not nothing.

I don't think they/we were looking to shovel in any case. I just think offering just $20 is a cheap look for a premier organization. Like let's stick if to the fan as much as we can get away with.

Heck, they should actually offer a free future meet and greet with some players, a tour of the stadium, or watching of practice. Now that would attract people.

There is cold.

And then there is Orchard Park cold, sitting in THAT stadium!

Don’t be fooled.

Dress like an Arctic expedition.

I’ve sat in that stadium with 6 inches of snow in my lap.

Again, if they have all the people they need, I just don’t see the need to add to the enticement. I don’t think it’s a “cheap look”, I think they’re just trying to get a job done. I see no need to make it a statement about their generosity. If I were younger and in WNY I’d think about doing it once for a few hours just for the experience. JMO

Heck, they even got @plenzmd1 to sign up, and he can shovel more snow than one hundred mere mortals!

I did this for like 5 years, I would be in an office and print checks for the workers. Until one evening someone pulled a knife on me in the seats in the scoreboard endzone. Never went back after that.

What happened after the person pulled a knife on you?! Was there a witness and stopped this person?!

For anyone that has done shoveling at the stadium, do you get a paycheck from the Bills, or from the county or what?  Curious how that works as I think the Bills are responsible for stadium maintenance but not certain if this is covered too.

I went back to the office and told the managers that the guy pulled a knife on me. He followed me back to the office and said he did nothing. The managers kicked him out after he dropped the knife on the floor.

Some inconsequential snow ok,  multiple feet that repeatedly needs to be shoveled out of a NFL stadium by manual labor (for a few shekels) is ridiculous.

Lots of snow is even more fun. Some of those heavy snow games were really fun at the time.

And if you don't think the shoveling for $20 per hour is worth it, then don't do it. Others will, though.

Was there some confrontation, or was he straight up looking to rob you or what?  Seems like a crazy place to pull that
