I still don’t get how they get anyone to do this. $20 an hour is criminal for that back breaking labor.

Today people will get to showcase it on their Instagram or X or TikTok.

Will they pay for my flight from Atlanta?  Just froze my butt off at the crazy GA/GA Tech game.  Why not freeze again in Buffalo.

That was epic

I’ve always wondered what motivates people to sign up for this. The only thing I can see is viewing it as community service for fellow fans to attend the game. I’m not rich, but can’t think of any financial motive for taking this as an odd job. I would not feel motivated enough to make the effort to leave home

Kids making some cash to buy CoD. Adults that have poor jobs and looking for a little xtra. Christmas coming so it helps with that too.

12/28/63.  I was 15 years old.  Bills were hosting Pats for the right to go to the AFL title game.  Snowed that week heavily.  Tickets were my "big" Christmas present.  Our seats were in the bleachers towards the East end of the stadium [left center field in baseball].  Instead of shoveling the bleachers, they had gone around with a garbage can and made seats on top on the snow covered wooden board seats.  I was 15 and immune to cold [haha] my dad, who already had some arthritis from a WW2 injury, went with me and probably was in agony but never said a word.  Bills lost that day, 26-8 but regrouped and won the next two AFL titles.  Buffalo's only score was a 93-yard pass from Daryle Lamonica to Elbert Dubenion in the third quarter, with a successful two-point conversion to cut the lead in half.  That's my Bills snow game memory.

Did you go to any away games back in the day?? You know like Valley Forge?  😂, kidding, kidding, kidding. You ARE a long time Bills fan. Very cool story!

I have volunteered myself and my son. Good way to get ready for the tailgate.

And on and on it goes. Still can’t believe we didn’t build a dome.

Snow games are fun to watch.

It's for teenagers and college kids

Not adults.. most typically live within walking distance of the stadium.. or snowmobiling distance

So funny that people don't get this. A bunch of 30 to 60 year old men with careers who can't handle watching a football game without a dome are clearly not the target demographic.

Don't worry.  I'm sure the NFL will shorten the season so snow won't be as much of a factor.

This is why the CFL runs from June to November.  Also frees up players for their holiday seasonal jobs at Canadian Tire. 😁

And there's always the chance for those freak September snowfalls that hit the prairies.

Some inconsequential snow ok,  multiple feet that repeatedly needs to be shoveled out of a NFL stadium by manual labor (for a few shekels) is ridiculous.

There is cold.

And then there is Orchard Park cold, sitting in THAT stadium!

Don’t be fooled.

Dress like an Arctic expedition.

You used to get a ticket 20 years ago when they were tickets available

They don't even have a thousand excess tickets to give to snow shovelers now

Then increase the pay.

No, but I have two other vivid Bills memories.  Cookie running for 5 TD's and pro football record 243 yards on a muddy field at the Rockpile; and was actually working in Nashville and one of my vendors gave my son [who was on Winter Break from College] and I skybox seats to the "Music City Miracle".  Talk about the thrill of victory, agony of defeat that day. Can't believe Wade benched Flutie that game.
