They wouldn’t have been able to build a dome strong enough to withstand Lake Erie’s madness. 

I was pulling for downtown though. It would have been a great addition to the city, and fewer lake effect events

It’s actually store credit towards your PSL at the new stadium…that may or may not have a roof.

It should be $20 per hour AND a complimentary ticket. At least let people take advantage of the product they helped make happen. It’s the least they could do when asking people to risk their necks driving on the roads.

You used to get a ticket 20 years ago when they were tickets available 

 

They don't even have a thousand excess tickets to give to snow shovelers now

I thought I saw that it said potential shovelers. They might be just over prepping. Looks like current models have the stadium right on the line of a lot of snow vs manageable snow

The tickets weren’t always a great benefit either. In those days inclement weather game tickets could be found for $5 and up.

I’ve always wondered what motivates people to sign up for this. The only thing I can see is viewing it as community service for fellow fans to attend the game. I’m not rich, but can’t think of any financial motive for taking this as an odd job. I would not feel motivated enough to make the effort to leave home

It's for teenagers and college kids 

 

Not adults.. most typically live within walking distance of the stadium.. or snowmobiling distance
