I agree if the flag and whistle is blown was a pre snap call I think they need to honor that. 
 

if they still want to change it up and say it’s a valid play they blew it dead

Makes sense to me. Play was ugly, and the refs assumed somebody must've jumped. One of them blew the false start whistle.

What should've happened was no flag, no whistle, simple Chiefs recovery and Chiefs win.

But how could the refs restore the proper conclusion? Make up a fake penalty that didn't blow the play dead.

You couldn’t be more wrong. The Chiefs are 1 and done in the playoffs and probably end up as the 2 seed. They are not impressive.

They win because they are good and beat people at the fundamentals.  They are no more lucky than Detroit was yesterday.  KC forces their opponents to play mistake free fundamentally sound football for 60 minutes.  Not many teams in this league can do that because its a pretty average league to be honest and hardly any teams actually demand excellence from their club.  Those day are gone.

 

 

That’s fine and good, but they have largely not beaten teams on the fundamentals all year. They have relied on flukey BS like pass interference on 4th and a mile, a center snapping the ball when he shouldn’t, or blocking a chip shot  would-be game winning FG.

 

If the roles were reversed I would be calling the Bills frauds.

If Chiefs keep playing like they have all season, and they’ll be lucky to go 3-2 down the stretch. I know it sounds crazy to say, but that offense is nothing special. Considering every defense they have to go up against is formidable to say the least, and three of those games being on the road, 2-3 is very possible.

I'm just shocked so many people actually believe this. I fell for it briefly during the Chargers game when Rashee Rice had clearly suffered a season ending injury while the Chiefs were trailing. Stupid me. It won't happen again.

Looking at kc's remaining schedule, I can't see how they are the 1 seed if they continue to play the way they've been playing. Steelers, Chargers, broncos, Texans will all be tough games for them. Even the Browns may give them a tough time
