Exactly. But they didn’t get out of bounds prior when they had a clear chance. What makes you think they’re going to get a chance again?

For that matter, what would've been a false start? (since the "start" was when the center snapped the ball)

Probably should've been a no call, with, unfortunately, the Chiefs getting possession.

no.  I think buffalo running the table in the regular season is a big ask and if they don't and they lose one they then need the chiefs to lose 2.  That scenario is highly unlikely.

good point.  Odds were that that last play was a pointless out of bounds pass anyway.

I just can't with this team anymore.  They have a lucky horseshoe crammed so far up their butts it must be irretrievable. 

 

Seriously....have they won a single game this season without something stupid happening to help them at some point?  I can't think of one.  Missed FGs against. blocked gimmie game winner, teams snapping the ball when nobody is ready, a couple last second FGs against terrible teams that should have beat them, etc.....  the list just seems to go on.  I've never seen such an average looking team get to 11-1 like they have. 

 

Look....are they good?  Of courser they are.  As long as they are Super Bowl champions, they are the team to beat, but this gifting from other teams screwing themselves over needs to stop.

They should have run the clock down to 3 seconds on the play before when they spiked it and sent the kicker out.

Because they changed the penalty call from false starts to an illegal shift. False start would have given the Raiders the ball back after a 10 second run off and allowed them to try a FG. Illegal shift doesn't kill the play like that and this allowed KC to keep the ball.
