Matt_In_NH Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I hate them. What the heck is wrong with you ? 1 1 1 Quote
BigDingus Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I get what you're saying, but the flip side is it being a REAL rivalry where both teams go back & forth trading victories & losses. I'd rather not lose to the Dolphins just to keep the rivalry more heated. If we continue beating them for the next decade, I'm more than happy with things staying the way they are. But in a way yeah, I wish they'd be a bit more competitive against OTHER teams sometimes, but that's mainly because it makes our wins against them more credible. If the Dolphins continue to crap the bed every time they play an above average team, it makes our 2 wins against them not impressive at all 1 Quote

He was 37-46, you saying all of that is from the late 4th qtr? I get hating on the dolphins, I hate them too. But some of these reactions are just plain dumb. The dolphins defense isn't any good, neither is their Oline. Tua isn't the problem right now. Getting sacked on 4th down. Airmailing another 4th down throw to a wide open Achane. Missing some throws early on 3rd down that could have kept them in it. Going 4 for 14 on 3rd down isn't going to get it done. Tua IS a problem because on plays you NEED him to make a play, oftentimes he doesn't. Edited November 30 by Big Turk 1 Quote

Honestly I feel pity for them because it's always the same thing...they play a good team, play in cold weather, play a prime time game and they get their doors blown off. Essentially, anytime the conditions aren't good and they are playing anything more than a mediocre team, they don't usually even look competitive. They have ruined the rivalry and I am actually angry at them for that. They are like your little brother that you know you will always win against when you play them. I mean, sure, every once in while they hit a lucky shot to win at the last second but most of the time the games aren't close and the result is already known. It just feels so weird after all this time to feel nothing for a team you grew up hating and have done so for 40 years... I hope they renew the rivalry at some point, because at this point it's dead. Strange. And no I never think this. Dude, all I care about for the entire City of Buffalo is winning a Super Bowl. Quote
Generic_Bills_Fan Posted November 30 Posted November 30 (edited) Na I love the dolphins struggling haha I’m still mad about the two games we lost to them in Josh’s tenure 🤣 crazy that this is the results they’re getting when completely all in…I think they’re headed for a much worse stretch Edited November 30 by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote

You discredit the 37 completions as garbage time( a record for garbage time completions), but the 9 incompletions are the problem? How many of those misses were in garbage time? And when did garbage time start last night? 2nd quarter? Quote

SageAgainstTheMachine Posted November 30 Posted November 30 The rivalry is strong. Remember when they won the SB against us in Week 3 of ‘22? 1 Quote

All those stats and only 3 points. Nobody cares about how many stats you put up. You don't win games with stats. You win games with points. And over and over again in these games they don't score enough of them. When your average in those games is half or less of what you score in other games, that's a problem. Taking bad sacks doesn't show up on his stat line but they kill drives. Edited November 30 by Big Turk Quote

Campbell has been far and away their best defensive lineman and at age 38 is about to fall off a cliff...probably next year if he is back. Ramsey is in his early 30s and doesn't have long left either. Poyer also... Quote

buffalo2218 Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Ok I keep seeing this thread title and I'm confused as to why ANY Bills fan would be mad at Miami just because they can't field a competitive team. It's almost like you're mad because they can't beat us? Dude, you have to be incredibly bored to come up with this. Many like myself couldn't care less about Miami's ineptitude. We all look forward and you're acting like you're actually concerned Miami can't be more competitive against us? 20 hours ago, thenorthremembers said: Stop. The season isnt over yet and the Dolphins are more talented than you give them credit for. If GB was any indication, they're not even a playoff team, much much less a SB competitor. Even if they somehow won out, it'll either be KC or us they come to. Talk about their talent all you want. Seems to me their "talent" is on full display against teams with a losing record. Their last win against a winning team was Dallas of last year, and even then, Dallas gave that game to them Quote

But in general, it's a foregone conclusion we are beating them twice a year most years for a long time running. Quote
Coach Tuesday Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Maybe I’m in the minority here. I still LOVE beating the Dolphins - it’s my favorite two weeks of the year probably. But I don’t hate them - I save my hate these days for the Jets. I hate that organization top to bottom, I hate their fans, I hate their bland McStadium, all of it. The Fins tho? I like Tua and McDaniel, their offense is fun to watch when it’s humming - at least they’re trying something different. Yes they wilt under physical conditions but I think it’s mostly because they haven’t built a real defense under McDaniel - hopefully the owner will become impatient and fire him and it’ll set them back another few years.
