Is anyone else feeling mad at the Dolphins for ruining the rivalry?

Here’s my view on Miami, and I say this with insight provided by a lifelong Dolphin fan I’m close to in addition to my 60 year experience with the rivalry.

 

The Dolphins are a poorly constructed team, on the GM.   The Dolphins are an undisciplined, predictable, unadvisedly aggressive team, on the coach.  Tua is a narrow, skill set limited, QB who the team will over pay until and unless he goes down tragically.   Miami is a world class city and a terrible football town.

 

I came of age during the 0-20 decade.   I miss their excellence.

But we have one rival in the NFL and it ain’t the PHINs.

Tua's numbers were inflated this week by lots of garbage time. 

 

The narrative is that Tua cant play in the cold came true again this week.

 

Miami has always struggled against the Jets, just like KC against raiders... and is 2 games out of the playoff picture let alone wont win the division.  You need to stop...

Being born in 1989, I have never viewed the Dolphins as a true rival.

 

It's really just been the Pats for me.

80% completion , 365 yards and 2/0 TD/Int. He did fine in the cold. The rest of the team, not so much.

Most of it in garbage time with the game already decided. When he had chances to make plays in key situations he came up short...as usual. 

 

This is the same script as always for him in games like that.

There's no garbage time when down by 2 scores and have a goal to goal early in the 4th.  He was 37-46, you saying all of that is from the late 4th qtr?  I get hating on the dolphins, I hate them too. But some of these reactions are just plain dumb.

The dolphins defense isn't any good, neither is their Oline. Tua isn't the problem right now.

I agree. and we should enjoy every win because you never know, after the Allen era there could be a decade when things flip and Miami dominates.  Crush them while we can.
