Some more hilarity.. the Dolphins brought 3500lbs of "Cold Weather" equipment with them including heaters and scuba suits. I have to say if you are THAT concerned about the cold.. there's something deeper wrong with your team.

Yeah, because it wasn't that cold. They lose these games before they even start.

It's like 25 degrees up there.

For gawd's sake, you don't even cold at that temp when you're paying football.

A Fin Heaven poster mentioned they are 0-5 against teams with a winning record this year.

I bet in the last 4 years they have less than 5 wins against teams with winning records.

What a weak team.  They get punched in the mouth whenever they try to step up a class.

I don't know if it's toughness, preparation, age in some key spots.  They just can't get it done.

Putting so much stock into Tua, those 2 receivers, chubb, and Ramsey is a systemic failure too.

Lol exactly. I wonder how many forum members are still going to be nervous of the Dolphins snagging that 7 seed this year? There were more than a few up to today.

You mean nervous of them snagging the 7 seed and us having to play them because they would be "desperate"

They are 1-16 against teams with a winning record or made the playoffs that year in the McDaniel era.

The 1 win was the Bills in 2022.

This is the most truth a Dolphins poster has ever had. They don't beat winning teams. They beat on the bottom half and sometimes thats good enough to squeak into the playoffs but not this year with Tua getting hurt for part of the year.

The one win took an act of god and dangerous gamesmanship on behalf of the Phins/NFL. And the Bills were STILL just one errant throw (bad fundamentals/totally gassed) on the last play away from winning. That wasn't the Dorsey smashed laptop reaction, was it?

Yup. The never win the division so they get an easier slate of opponents. The last time the Dolphins had a harder strength of schedule than the Bills was 2020, and it was by 0.004 points.

I think they’ve got 3 wins against teams that finished above .500 in mcdaniel’s tenure and two of them were flukey as hell games back to back early on in his first year (the huge comeback against Baltimore then heat stroke game against Buffalo)

I’ve gotta go back through and make sure I’m not crazy though lol the other one I remember off the top of my head was Dallas last year

I think it’s 3 unless I’m mistaken…Baltimore the week before the bills heat stroke game and they beat Dallas late last year.  Still absolutely horrible but not quite as bad as 1 win 😂

Yeah that 1-16 stat is incorrect.  The real number is 3-14 - though the point still largely is the same.

The three wins are Baltimore and Buffalo which took some pretty crazy circumstances to get the W and Dallas last season.

If you watch Miami in pre-game footage the players look like they are freezing.  I remember this last year in Kansas City and then again tonight.  I don’t think the cold is the only reason they lost but this group of players seems to be bothered by it to some effect

So crazy they started off 2-0 and then it went about as badly as possible ever since 😂. None of those wins were super decisive either they won the Baltimore game by 4 and Buffalo/Dallas by 2

i wouldn’t even put much stock in those two wins early in mcdaniel’s tenure when there wasn’t much film on his offense

I think I saw on Finheaven Tua is 7-17 vs teams with winning records in his career.

And 1-11 the last 2 seasons.
