Jason Garret said it well a little earlier when describing Tua's play (although, he meant it in a complimentary way)-- "Eyes go up, ball comes out." It looks like the same offense that got exposed in the first third of last season.

If I were a reporter I’d be tempted in the postgame to ask something like:

 

“Tua, you described yourself as someone who slays narratives. How do think that went for you today?”

 

I’d have my press credentialed revoked, but it would be worth it to see him melt down in the face of media adversity.

 

Kidding aside, Tua played a solid game. He even took some big hits and stayed on the field.

They're legit on finheaven right now fighting because half their fanbase is posting Tua's stats about how he's one of the best QBs.. like they didn't score 3 points in the first 2 and a half quarters. Also, the side argument that them not being able to score points was solely the fault of the defense is gold. Gold, Jerry!

How do you finish with those kind of throwing stats and only have 17 points?  Really odd.  Tua went 37 for 46 for 365 yards.  2 td no int.  And only 17 pts???
