Whenever the TV heads talk about Detroit during the week it's always about their offense, and the defense gets no respect.  I know it's just the Bears but when I watch the Lions their defense balls out.   Maybe I'm missing the action when their D is just meh?!?  and I know they are missing some good players.  I'll be interested in how they do in a couple weeks, but Detroit seems like a complete team to me.  All 3 phases.

I said this in a different thread but I absolutely love the Lions. What’s not to like? Creative as hell, Goff is a nice story, an historically horrible franchise that has killed it with the coaching staff - if the Bills don’t win the Super Bowl I hope Detroit does.

I love how they’ve built their team.  They can bully teams or spread em out and carve them up.  
 

Gonna be interesting to see how they respond when they lose both coordinators.  They’ll get some extra picks when Glenn gets a head coaching gig.

I can't help but wonder, can you beat the Lions if you give them the run game? Probably just have to win a shootout.

I'd be totally jealous, but yeah I'd definitely rather have Detroit win their 1st then Philly, KC or Baltimore.

Sure looks that way but ya never know.  Lots of season left and injuries to overcome potentially.  I don’t see an NFC team that could beat them today.
