Just Jack Posted November 27 Posted November 27 Got the email from the Bills, season ticket holders will see charges for playoff tickets Jan 6th, unless you opted out of the automatic sale plan. Extras can be purchased December 12th. Quote Thank you for your continued support as a Season Ticket Member. The NFL requires teams within 3 games of the division lead to communicate Playoff ticket information in the event we host a home Playoff game(s). As a Season Ticket Member enrolled in our Pay As We Play Playoff Ticket Payment Plan, no action is required. You have already reserved your season ticket location for any potential home Playoff game(s) this season. Below are the dates your credit card will be charged if we are to host a home Playoff game(s): If we host a Wildcard Playoff game, your credit card will be charged on or around January 6, 2025. As a Member enrolled in this plan, you will receive a discounted ticket price if we are to host a home Wild Card Playoff game. If we host a Divisional Playoff game, your credit card will be charged on or around January 13, 2025. If we host the AFC Championship game, your card will be charged on or around January 20, 2025. You can view your Playoff ticket invoice and update your credit card information by signing in to your Bills Account Manager. If you would like to opt out of the Pay As We Play Playoff Ticket Payment Plan, you must email your Account Representative by Friday, December 6, 2024, at 5:00 P.M. If you opt out, your Playoff tickets for each round will be released and you will not have access to our Member Playoff Ticket Presale. Members enrolled in the Playoff Ticket Payment Plan will have access to an exclusive presale to purchase additional single game Playoff tickets. The presale is scheduled for Thursday, December 12 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. A separate email will be sent with further details on this presale. 1 Quote
Captain Hindsight Posted November 27 Posted November 27 I told my wife I'd get a second mortgage on the house before I missed a home AFCCG. Her reaction told me I married the right women 6 5 Quote

Sweats Posted November 27 Posted November 27 A number of years ago (during the Buddy Nix era), i contacted OBD to look into season ticket prices for their executive luxury boxes, like i'm talking the high-end suites here. Whenever i called to enquire, they put me on hold for countless hours, gave me the run-around, wasted my time, etc.......when i emailed them, they never got back to me at all, not even once, until...... When the FO finally did get back to me, their response was, "you want season tickets for our executive luxury boxes?........can we ask why?" (i'm totally serious here). So, as you know, the team hit a major rough patch for a number of years and were just God awful, so while everyone was giving up their season tickets, i guess they were in shock and awe that someone actually wanted some. I thought it kind of humorous........my wife was not impressed. Long story short, when it comes to tickets, i take care of it all myself. 1 Quote

Perhaps I am misunderstanding you, but did you think you could buy some individual season tickets in a luxury box? You have buy the rights to all the seats in the box. If you want to sit in the box you would have to work out a deal with the owner of the box for that season, not the team. 1 2 Quote
Bills!Win! Posted November 27 Posted November 27 The hard part for me is, I don’t know if I need to take off Saturday, January 11 or Saturday, January 18, the number one seed could change things as I work most Saturday’s and there’s a possibility the game could be played on those dates Quote

We should go to the Super Bowl!” I begged her not to get ahead of herself, but I love the spirit! 1 Quote
Bills fan since 87 Posted November 27 Posted November 27 (edited) It wasn't long ago we'd get these Emails and it seemed like a bit of a joke. I dreamt of the days where it was more than just pipedream to cash in on them. Thanks again #17 Edited December 12 by Bills fan since 87 3 Quote

It was just never an issue for 17 years Just an observation from my antiquated 1990's sth's perspective and the rudimentary way things were handled then compared to now. That said, since it was brought up, I don't recall problems getting playoff tickets on short notice then. But obviously the way it is now better serves sth's for a variety of reasons. As far as the details of ST/playoff payment, didn't realize the structure and mandates, again sure it's no problem. Quote

They are very boring to watch the game from and the food spread ain't anything special and gets picked over pretty fast if the box is full so you'd probably have ended up leaving the box to get in line for food and mixing with the unwashed like @teef tracking slush into the common area with their snow pants and moon boots anyway. You might as well pay $2K per ticket per season and sit outside under cover versus $2K per ticket per game in the box and having to buy all 18 per game at a time or whatever it was. Quote
