It’s ok. We’ll gang up on them like they do for tackling.

No one, fan or player, misses a hit; observation or tackle.

I don't understand what the "solo" axis means.  Just buy the eyeball test, seems D Williams isn't too good when he is in space; Rapp seems to be a good tackler (which is supported by the graph) & I've never thought of 1 way or the other about tackling (though he does make a fair # of plays).

Vs the run we're only 17th, that's gotta improve.

I mean, you’re rarely gonna be elite in both categories. Bills defense also invites runs by playing light boxes.

I get that a light box means fewer guys to try to make the tackle but does that automatically measure more "missed tackles"? I'm not sure.

It has improved from last year when they were 28th

Usually it means more attempts at tackles while being blocked which are going to result in a higher percentage of misses

or over-project Poyer and Hyde

Actually, our numbers may be great not because of our safeties but because of stellar play at CB1, CB2 and Slot-Corner positions.   Those three guys have been outstanding.

It improves when the DL does.

Amen our DBs make way too many tackles... interior DL has been an Achilles all year.

Cant miss the tackle if you arent in the picture. Hamlin can't get close enough to make the tackle at times. That said when he and Rapp are close they usually make the play. I can't recall any missed tackles in open field. Just poor angles from time to time.

Damar Hamlin *****in' sucks!  Or so I've heard....

He had a pretty rough start to the season. Has been impressive since. I've noticed him being a very sure tackler.  I was a big critic, he's proving me wrong.

thats great,  in a perfect world i dont want them tackling down field,  i want them intercepting passes and breaking them up.   tackling is something though.

Being able to dedicate the money else where and still have two capable starters means a lot.  We're probably saving in the ball park of 15 million dollars and getting arguably better safety play than last year.

When you run nickel and dime more than any other team in the league your safeties are going to do a lot of tackling.
