Off-topic here, but that 1998 Vikings team was amazing. Their kicker made 39 of 39 kicks in the regular and post-season and missed with last kick to try to tie the game at the end of the NFCC. Such a shame. The Super Bowl with Denver would have been a great game with Minny instead of Atlanta that season. I view Minny fans as Bills fans' kindred spirits (lots of great memories and many heartbreaking ones).

I'd love a Minnesota and Buffalo super bowl. Although one of those teams would get their 5th super bowl loss...

Yeah, that's the downside. Obviously as Bills fans we want the W, but I would assume for fans of the NFL (who don't have a hatred for the teams in question) would love a Bills/Lions, Bills/Vikings SB considering the 0-8 records (and zero appearances for the Lions).

Deebo pushing the kicker is disgraceful....

The kicker is symbolic in football of " the last should be first and the first should be last". The kicker is symbolic of the humbling nature of life and how many times we are dependent on our weakest leak to win in life.

Imagine all the violence and anguish you go through in a game and your fate is in the hands of the kicker for victory. It's meant to be humbling and unique in football.

The kicker is also a reflection of the actual football players and their responsibilities in a game.

Whether those responsibilities are fulfilled or not, the kicker, ( the weakest football player) has to win for you. It's a beautiful part of football and has symbolism biblically and in life.
