The Bills: elite in December

Since it will be December the next time our Buffalo Bills take the field, I thought I would post this stat that I found rather incredible, in hopes that you all may enjoy it as much as I did.

We all know that it's important to playing your best football in December as the playoffs approach. Well...

The Pats wind game and the almost-comeback in Tampa were the only losses -- two games they absolutely should've won.

Love it. Might need to run the table the rest of the way to get the 1 seed so would be a very good year for this streak to continue

When it's too cold for them, it's just right for us.

 

I actually don't remember too many times where the Bills absolutely blew or imploded in December.......and i'm old, so read that as you will.

They always say to play your best football after Thanksgiving and into the playoffs.  Well the Bills do!!   Year after year they play solid football, and then run into Mahomes...and Burrow with a chip on his shoulder one year. 

 

So that theory is out the window.  Jut play your best football the moment the playoffs start...and don't slack off until you win the Super Bowl.

The wind game was an abomination of weather and Stef getting PI'd and not called was terrible. Like Mahomes,  Brady's team was always going to get the favoritism.

Squeaky clean, yes. But pure bad-@$$ on the football field. He's earned his smack-talking privileges.

Naysayer, pessimistic opportunity of optimism...

If we win out it makes it harder to pull off the long run gambit. Id as soon take the loss in the next few weeks than in January. The success and riding high - if we beat Detroit - puts us to #1. 

 

I like the mentality of Buffalo as an underdog.

The defense has definitely slacked yet we've had serious injuries headed into the playoffs for much of current runs. Getting the number 1 seed would be nice to help with a bye week and then host a team that had to get through another team to get to us.
