GreggTX Posted November 26 Posted November 26 (edited) Here's my list of Bills that deserve the nod. Offense: Josh Allen James Cook Deion Dawkins Spencer Brown Khalil Shakir Defense: Greg Rousseau Christian Bedford Terrell Bernard Taron Johnson (forgot!) Not on my list: Ed Oliver, Matt Milano, Amari Cooper I think Oliver isn't having a very good year. Milano is great, but he's missed too much time to qualify. Transferring to a new team has not helped Amari, but he's still good. I just think there are better WRs based on this year's numbers. I do give him a lot of credit for playing hurt though. So who are your probowl caliber studs? Edited November 26 by GreggTX 1 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Unfortunately its more of a popularity contest than going by actual impact and stats My guesses: Josh Allen Dion Dawkins Connor McGovern Greg Rousseau Ed Oliver Christian Benford 2 Quote

The Bills had 1 player listed on some of the NFL top 100 players (a different list had Dawkins at like 95 too). They aren’t sending 8 guys to the Pro Bowl. Josh, one of the tackles, maybe Cook or Shakir, maybe Rousseau feels safe. Benford doesn’t have the picks. Bernard has a case too but has some missed time. Taron is the same. They’ll have like 4 guys go. It’s a popularity contest based on reputation. These Bills players, outside of Josh, Dawkins and Taron, don’t have reputations. 2 Quote
chongli Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Pro Bowl? Is that still a thing? At least it has meaning(somewhat) in the NBA, MLB, and NHL. Quote
LabattBlue Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Better question…how many 1st or 2nd team all-pro’s on the Bills? 2 1 Quote
MJS Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Josh Allen Dion Dawkins Christian Benford Terrel Bernard Three of those four will go. Quote

Goin Breakdown Posted November 26 Posted November 26 It'll be Mahomes and Lamar and then Josh or tua as alternatives maybe Dawkins. maybe cook maybe Shakir 1 Quote
Warcodered Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Not Josh Allen, he'll either be Super Bowl bound or will let an alternate go as he seems to do every year. 1 Quote
Logic Posted November 26 Posted November 26 (edited) If it were actually based on their level of play this season: Josh Allen Dion Dawkins Christian Benford Terrell Bernard That's it. No one else on the Bills this year reasonably warrants Pro Bowl consideration. What it will actually be based on how arbitrary and stupid Pro Bowl voting is: Nobody. Zero Buffalo Bills. Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, and Joe Burrow will all get voted to the Pro Bowl over Josh Allen. It's a broken and stupid and meaningless voting system, and its results have no bearing on reality. The All-Pro vote is all that matters any more. Edited November 26 by Logic 1 1 Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Fitz. Went to Hah-vahd. Wore his wedding band when playing. Seriously, I do like the man and his accomplishments. This is not one of my usual snarky comments. 😊 Quote
Ballhawk Posted November 26 Posted November 26 (edited) Every year I look at our record.. then to our Pro-Bowlers...then back to our record...and scratch my head. We are a great team, with few superstars with big names. The only two I think are a lock are Josh Allen and Taron Johnson... the rest are just not big enough names. James cook might be close but there are so many RB's lighting it up this year (starting with King Henry). Edited November 26 by Ballhawk Quote
corta765 Posted November 26 Posted November 26 While the Pro Bowl is quite stupid with how they do a lot and it favors big markets I would say the following truly deserve it from Buffalo: Offense Allen Brown Defense Rousseau Bernard Benford Snubs: Cook - He is a superb dual threat back but realistically he is behind by a lot in rushing yards and would need a big push to catch up to the leaders where voters will notice Shakir - He is probably the most important WR on the team but he won't get in because his numbers are not big enough. Ironically though I could see him getting the an All Pro selection 1/2 for Slot WR because they pay attention to more then just the basic numbers (WR REC TD) Dawkins - He is played well but too many penalties I think will trip him up T. Johnson - He has been really good but I think his lack of games catch him from making it in 1 Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Who wants to be the QB's will be Mahomes, Jackson and Burrow? Quote
