paulmm3 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I'm just not that convinced by the Chargers, on either side of the ball. They're 7-4 but watching they just don't feel like a much better than average team to me. Baltimore is good. I don't see any way we can hold them to much under 200 yards rushing. But I think we have an advantage in pass offense and pass defense vs Baltimore, and they are beatable. 1 Quote

Not everything is intended as the final word or some kind of definitive statement. and I just pointed out the all timers because that is who he is compared to. In the end I think he will get into the top 10 but it will be tough to see him get into the top 7. 14k yards is a lot of damn yards. Cool beans. I’ve been watching football since the early 90s, and in my amateur opinion Henry is one of the best I’ve ever seen and worthy of the HOF. Not sure where I’d rank him among guys I’ve watched, but definitely not first - that’s Barry Sanders for me. Top of my head, I’d for sure put Marshall Faulk and Tomlinson over Henry as well. But if I specifically need a third or fourth and short? I think Henry becomes my #1 in that situation. 2 Quote

Had he not been injured I can only imagine what he would have done with like a 12 year NFL career. My friends and I always used to joke about how there is an alternate universe where Bo Jackson and John Elway (both drafted By the New York Yankees) could have been a part of the mid to late 80's Yankees teams with Don Mattingly, Rickey Henderson, Dave Winfield, Willie Randolph etc. An outfield of Henderson Winfield Jackson Elway....Elway was drafted in the 2nd round in 81 and jackson in the 2nd round in 82. k I am 0ff topic. Anyway henry is definitely going to the hall of fame and will crack the top 10 for sure. Going to take some luck to crack the top 7 or so. 1 Quote

The Frankish Reich Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago It's all a game of matchups. Our speed oriented defense can get bulldozed by a power running team. Same with the Chargers. Quote
