You’re saying if we win 3 out of last 4,

we will be 14-3?

No 14-3. Gotta beat Detroit to have any chance at 2 seed.

Steelers finish with Eagles, Ravens, Chiefs and Bengals.

Do you mean 1 seed?  Because that’s accurate as the Chiefs could lose two games.. they won’t, but they will probably go down to the wire in all of them.

Steelers are 10-3, and can easily win 3/4.

K well you said we lose to Detroit and win 3 of last 4, we’ll be 14-3.  We’d be 13-4 in that case.

Meant to say gotta win coz we blew our loss vs Rams. Now gotta go 4-0.

Which would mean we just need to sweep the Pats and beat the Jets.

EDIT: Just read that if we both win out, Steelers are 2

Don’t forget the Steelers also hold tiebreaker based on SOV once they beat those 3 teams.

True, would it make a difference who their loss is to?  If we both go 3/4.

Maybe maybe not. Let’s assume conference record is a wash. It’s a coins toss even if we both are 13-4. I think our AFC record is better and losing to Lions gives us an edge. I think we edge them out if we go 3-1 with the lone loss being against the Lions.

We’d have two AFC/two NFC losses.

If they lose to an AFC team as their sole loss, they’d be 3 AFC/1 NFC.

tiebreaker's with Steelers…

both 10-3 and 7-2 in conference

next week both play their final non conference game , remaking within conference.

if they win out then they are still tied

if bills lose to lions and Steelers W thrn buffalo would get first tiebreaker by WWE and Steelers L one.

it thrn goes to

common games

   Bills/ Steelers

 IND  W L

BAL  L. W?

Jets W? W

KC   W ?

? Is a game to play

Bills beat Jets and Steelers L one of KC/ BAL, bills has tiebreaker

If both win out  out they are tied at 4-1

next tiebreaker is strength of schedule…below is full schedule, not who they have played to date.  It’s the same as Ws if teams play same number of games

buf/ pit winning out alone does not decide this tiebreaker.

BUF AE, AS, NW, KC, balt, Det

PIT AN, AW, NE, Jets, Colts, Atl

AE 24 AN 30*

AS 20, AW 30

NW. 27   NE 26 *

NC 32 NC 15

BUF 103 PIT 101*

Buffalo right now has the edge

NC are non common

* Tonight Cincy-dal still to play

Next is strength of victory — now is undecided and depends on other teams games results.

the tiebreaker  order sre

lH2H

conference record

common games

strength of schedule

strength of victory

right now both are 3-1 against NFC and play final NFC game next week

common games sre Indy, jets, balt, kc. Buf has jets, they have balt &KC

Got yo best Detroit if they want a shot an #1 seed. If they L they need KC to go 1-3.

BUF goes LWWW for 13-4. IF PIT beats PHilly next week, thenBUF needs them to L one of final 3 and 2nd is BUF.

Chiefs are playing with house money right now, the law of averages say they're going to lose one of these games sooner than later. Whether it be in the regular season or the post season. I'm honestly not afraid if we have to play them in the playoffs.

I honestly don't give a rat's *** what seed we are.......we're in the post season, we've clinched the AFCEast a 5th straight year and we have Mr. MVP leading the charge.

Let the chips fall where they may at this point and deal with it.

As we look at the conferences this Tuesday morning, there's only been the Giants eliminated from postseason play.  Granted, Saints, Panthers, Cowboys, and Bears are all at 99% probability of elimination, but they're still clinging to a chance.

The AFC is a much clearer picture:

Six teams eliminated, with the Bengals only having a 1% chance of making the playoffs.

Keep in mind Houston has the tiebreaker on us. So if they go undefeated and we lose twice...we are the 5th seed.

The only way the Bills lose twice is if that last game against NE is meaningless and they treat it like a preseason game. The Bills should go at least 3-1 if they need to win all their games.

No can't be be.  We won the division so no worse than 4th seed and first game at home likely against Balt in that case.  Or Balt could still win division over Pitt as they could lose a few down the stretch as they have a tough remaining schedule.

Pitt has a much tougher schedule then Buffalo over their last 4 games and IMO is more likely then the Bills to lose 2 more games.  I predict the Bills finish at 13 - 4 and he Steelers at 12 - 5.

Agreed.  I think we are a lock for the 2 seed, probably even before week 18. I have a feeling the chiefs and bills will both rest their starters for week 18, and it seems like we will get Denver in round 1.
