Buffalo will use the jets game as a playoff dress rehearsal. The 2 seed and a defacto bye week is in hand with a win.

You'll see buffalo play at extremely high level vs the jets but still hold things back scheme wise. Josh probably won't run vs the jets.

You can elevate 2 extra guys per week.

Unlimited call ups are allowed in the playoffs.

So for example if the bills want to elevate Hyde for each playoff game they can.

In the regular season you're only allowed to be called up 4x I think. Anything more and said player has to be signed to the 53.

There are other caveats and loopholes but that's the general rules

In the regular season you can only call up a player 3 times, not 4. After that, they'd need to be waived so any team could try to put them on their practice squad.

It is if the Bills beat the Jets. If the Chiefs beat the Steelers and Bills beat the Jets the Bills will be 13-3 and the Ravens will be 11-5 with one week to play locking the Bills into the 2 seed

Right and the Ravens at 3 is terrifying

Probably...Chargers have two cupcakes and they need 1 win so they likely are in.   The Broncos have to play the Bengals and Chiefs....if they lose both then the 7 seed might be Colts (two cupcakes) or Bengals (Steelers week 17).

I think the Bills likely with the 2 seed will play Broncos, Colts or Bengals in that order of probability.  I feel like it is reasonable it could be the Colts.  It could also be the Dolphins if lots of improbably things happen.

I see the Bengals have a better shot than the Colts, not exactly sure why....I get they are better than the Colts but the Colts play Giants and Jags and Bengals play Broncos/Steelers.

I feel like Bangles lose to Broncos and Steelers. If Im any team in the wild card hunt, I wanna be the Colts right now

They definitely are.

the potential for Pittsburgh to end up the 6 seed and go to Baltimore and win still exists.  If the Steelers go there with Pickens healthy it will be a tight game.

I imagine the ravens do not want that scenario.

How do Steelers go to 6? They lose out and LA wins out? Personally, Ravens vs KC in round 2 is our best bet.

Yea it seems like the chargers are going to win out unless the weather stops them this weekend in foxboro.  I think it is supposed to be nice this weekend though.

and yes Pitt can definitely lose both.

Steelers lose to Cincinnati?? if that's the case they're in trouble

Well they might be because that Is a really difficult game for them.

If we meet in the divisional round, I'm not scared of the Ravens at home in Orchard Park.  I would not want to go back to Baltimore but I think the Bills can outscore the Ravens if necessary at home.

Give me KC at Arrowhead for a shot at the Super Bowl.  I'll take it. Chiefs D is really tough, and Mahomes will try to ball control Buffalo to death and cash in.  Again, Bills would need Allen to be possessed and score high 20's-30 like they did in the earlier game....which almost no one does vs this version of KC.

Didn’t realize Houston was only a game back of Baltimore.

Couldn’t they conceivably get the 3 if they win today and Steelers lose next week / Baltimore wins next week?

With CIN playing PIT, not unlikely the way PIT is fading.

Both Pit and Houston are fading fast…coming down to KC, Buf, Balt, and maybe Cincy

With Ravens winning….

Chiefs earn #1 seed

BUF magic number is 1 to earn #2 seed between them and Baltimore

balt W or T they clinch division. If they don’t W div they are locked in at  #5

PIT W and balt L, Pitt win division

Houston will be #4 seed

WC still up for grabs.

DEN/ LAC WW and PIT L then they pass them in seedlings  and put PIT at 7.  A L by either team raises PIT worst seeding up a notch of two ( if each lose 1)

With losing, Texans are in #4.  Balt W are 2 games ahead with one to play. PIT is one game ahead.  Balt has not clinched div yet.

Draft order as of now for top picks

Team. Wins. SOS-Wins

NYG   2.  142

NE  3. 118

JAX 3. 123

TEN 3. 131

CLE 3. 138

LV 3. 142

CAR 4   127

NYJ 4. 128

CHI 4. 142

NO 5   130

SF 6   145

After week 17 spaces can be locked up because of week 18 being all division play that means teams total W in SOS can only increase by 5.  3 for 3 non common game results and their division game they play ( counts twice because of 2 meetings)

if wins and SOS are tied then they will decide by coin flip between 2 or dice roll among 3 teams tied

division sort does not matter…one season bills and fins were tied with same record. Fins was 3rd, buf was 4th because of normal sorting of H2H/ div record/ common games/ conf record but Fins drafted before buffalo because their SOS was worse.

After seeing the draft order list, the Jets are definitely going to tank to get in the top 5 for a QB.

Why would any current Jets player or interim coach care about who the Jets draft to play with another coach?
