I think we're the best team in the NFL and we're going to have to take the mountain over guys like mahomes or Lamar. There's no way around but through. It's time to win a world championship 🏆 💪 The Bills are up there for sure, but I think the Eagles are the most complete team in football on both sides of the ball. Allen is better than Hurts so we got that going for us. With the injuries the Lions have suffered that makes the Eagles the favorite to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. Maybe Green Bay or Minnesota can beat them, but I think it will be Philly. Quote

The eagles don't have the better QB, they don't have better tes, cook is just as dynamic as Barkley, and both olines are a wash. Maybe Aj Brown is slightly better than Cooper but IDK. Shakir gives us a slightly better edge at wr. They don't have the outside pass rush of buffalo and Ed Oliver at his full ceiling is better than any front 7 guy on the eagles Douglas is the same as slay. Benford, Johnson and Elam are better than their CBS Our starting 3 linebackers are better. I like our Coaches more too. If we played Philly we would destroy them in the super bowl. Worse than Detroit because at least Detroit could hypothetically get back in it or make it respectable with their passing game The bills defense is going to take it up to an insane level in the playoffs imo too. 2 1 Quote

peterpan Posted Friday at 08:02 PM Posted Friday at 08:02 PM I’m with the two posters before me. Bengals scare me because of Chase and Burrow. They could cut up our D like Rams and Lions did. Who cares how bad their D is? Our O is so good it doesn’t matter. We score 35-45 points but their O could match it. Ravens could just straight bully us again. I don’t want to see it. Of course the ravens/Lamar tend to fold in the playoffs. We would have to make it a shootout, and hope they abandon the run. And I think Lamar may make a mistake(turnover) that costs them the game. The Steelers don’t phase me at all. We have played them well in the past and I don’t believe their D could stop us, or that their O could match ours. As bad as he can be - McD going against a rookie in Bo Nix? That will be a rough day in Denver. Chargers in Buffalo in January with that west coast travel? Good luck with that! Although McKonkey could have 200 yards. 1 1 Quote

But as you said, elite QB and two excellent WR's they can do serious damage. If they get in they will be playing with house money. Gosh i hope the Texans can beat KC and Ravens beat Pittsburgh. That would give Buffalo a legit chance to grab the #1 seed in the final two weeks. Edited Friday at 08:25 PM by zow2 1 Quote
Brand J Posted Friday at 08:38 PM Posted Friday at 08:38 PM Basically the way it shakes out: if the Texans beat the Chiefs, I will then root for Baltimore to beat Pittsburgh and win the AFCN. If the Chiefs beat the Texans, I’ll root for the Steelers to win the AFCN, which would increase the likelihood of the Bills not having to go through both KC and Baltimore on the road to the SB. Quote
billsherd Posted Friday at 08:44 PM Posted Friday at 08:44 PM Cincinnati can't be in the playoffs they could do some serious damage if they get on a roll. They would have very little lose and their offense is really good. Quote

Mahomes beat Allen and Lamar last year. No excuses Kelly had to beat Marino and a solid raiders team in 90. He then had to beat another solid raiders team in -25 weather and then Montana the next week in 93. Allen is better than all these QBs and I expect him to blow all of them out. The Ravens are probably the worst matchup for us on paper... but I also think our opinions are a little tainted based on that game earlier this year. I'm pretty sure things would go much different the second time around. That Week 4 game was the beginning of a rough 3-game stretch, where our outside receivers group and OC were trying to find their footing. Much has changed since early in the season. Since we added Amari Cooper, Keon Coleman started getting some experience under his belt, and Mack Hollins developed some chemistry, this offense has been on an absolute tear through the NFL. The Bills passing game would not struggle that badly again in a rematch. Don't forget, our defense was also missing key run defenders in the middle with Terrell Bernard and Taron Johnson (not to mention Matt Milano). Not to say these guys would cause us to completely shut-down Derrick Henry. But I certainly wouldn't expect him to just steamroll us again from the first snap. Finally, game script is hugely important. There is a reason that game was our first time being blown out in 3 years. Most teams cannot just run the ball down our throat all game, because they are worried about keeping up with Josh Allen and the offense. But when you combine our struggles at the time, along with the boost of Henry's quick TD run on the first play... it was just a perfect storm for them putting the whooping on us. And when we started getting some momentum and moving down the field, Joe Brady called that awful trick play that totally killed it. Like him or not, Lamar Jackson also has a history of playing poorly in the playoffs. 1 Quote

I don't think people are trying to make excuses. Sometimes a little bit of luck can make a difference getting through the playoffs. The difference between a Wild Card matchup and a Bye could mean additional injuries. Think about how many guys went down against Pittsburgh last year, and what they could have meant against the Chiefs a week later. I know we can beat anyone. But I like our odds better going through certain teams/quarterbacks, and being forced to play as few elite teams as possible. 1 Quote

So we're there's a decent chance we're Cincinnati Baltimore @kc So it is what it is. I personally think it's going to be Allen going 89 49ers Montana levels of complete destruction against everyone in the playoffs. So I'm ready Edited Friday at 10:02 PM by Kelly to Allen 1 Quote

Let's say we do get the one seed and the Steelers win the division. I'm assuming the Ravens get the 5 seed and smoke the Texans and the Steelers beat the Chargers. The final four would probably be...... Baltimore(5) @ Bills (1) Steelers (3) @ Chiefs (2) Best case scenario. Bills would host AFC Championship game.....but we'd have to beat probably the Ravens and Chiefs Or..... would you rather get the 2 seed and host the Broncos in the WC round with the Steelers winning the division. The final four would pry then be Steelers (3) @Bills (2) Baltimore (5) @Chiefs (1) I'd pry still go with option 1 but it would be close. Quote
