No thanks.  I don't want to face Burrow and Chase in a playoff game.    A few weird plays resulting in turnovers by their defense and the season ends

I am not afraid of any team overall but I have spent too much time thinking about each team and what I do fear about each potential team.

Chiefs- officials and Mahomes 

Steelers- so physical will make next game difficult

Houston- Stroud is a physical freak

Baltimore- Henry going Beast mode and Lamar is very good but not so much in weather

Denver- defense is physical and Payton is a good coach

Chargers- Herbert is so physically talented and defense has talent

Indy- not much there to scare me

Cincinnati - when hot can score 35, meaning a few bad plays can cook us

Yea past demons vs kc aside they are the better matchup for us compared to Baltimore imo.  Baltimore going out to kc and getting knocked out is a pretty decent spot

I personally think it's going to be Allen going 89 49ers Montana levels of complete destruction against everyone in the playoffs. So I'm ready 

 

As of today they said Cincinnati has a 10% chance of making the playoffs so i don’t think we are at decent stage yet.  i do believe the Chargers and/or Denver would have to lose out.  I really like Denver to beat KC at the end, especially if the Chiefs have #1 locked up.

buffalo is at 11-3 while PIT/BAL are 10-5. A win sunday does not clinch anything here.

 

If BUF W tomorrow and they both L on Xmas then Bills clinch #2 and KC clinch #1 besting PIT. BUF would be 12-3 and they both are 10-6. If Bills clinch #2 starters should be resting for the final game of the season while against the jets they might play into the 3rd Q

 

Bills tied with Pit at 12-5 , PIT would have the conf record tiebreaker. BAL at 12-5 has H2H tiebreaker.

 

bills need either W 2 games or W one and PIT/BAL both lose 1.

Bills are really going to have their seeding determined with 2 games to go.. wow.  I don't care what most people say... I'd rest everyone up for two weeks. Maybe one or two drives in each game to keep "game ready ". But I'm definitely not going all out risking an injury.

I don’t get this take. Is it not better to play the Broncos or Chargers? The Bengals CAN beat us. It’s one football game. They have a top 3 offense and own McD’s defense. You watched the Rams game right?

I just hate the new format where only one team gets a bye.  I'm sure I'm not alone in that.

 

I wouldn't care as much about not getting the 1 seed if the 2 seed still got a bye. That rest week can make such a difference.

Of course we worked our way up to perennial-ish 2 seed right when they took away the 2 seed bye lol

I feel like by that same logic the broncos or chargers defense can have a good game and shut us down and their offense can do enough against our playoff defense to beat us too though.

 

this bengals thing feels like another slightly overreacting to past trauma situation lol theyll score more points than the others but losing to them seems like it’s as likely to losing to the broncos or chargers to me

Playing around with the espn playoff machine, I am pretty sure it’s going to shake out.

 

1) KC 

2) Buff

3) Ravens

4) Houston 

5) LA

6) Pitt

7) Den

 

There may be a decent chance Pitt slides into the 5 and LA the 6 if the bengals rest their players in week 18, and Pittsburgh easily wins that game. But I think the bengals will play hard until the end.

Chiefs are going to play someone like the chargers or steelers in tye 1st rd, then the bills .... whereas the bills could have to beat ->bengals->ravens-chiefs

Good sarcasm.!!! Allen is the Bills only positional advantage. OL’s are a wash. Otherwise Eagles are superior. I’d be thrilled if Bills got to the SB and played them. I’ll take Josh against any NFC team but the Eagles would be very tough.

The Bengals defense might be the worst in the NFL. Playoff Lamar is a disaster. 

 

Let things play out. Herbert could get on a heater and before you know it it's chargers at buffalo in the AFC championship

It's KC who scared me yesterday! With DHop and Hollywood making catches all over the field. They truly have an "everybody eats" mentality now. Pacheco, Hunt can run the ball. Kelce is Kelce. Their D plays hard.

We will see but KC is no joke. They are getting healthy and ramped up.

 

Houston is all but done now without Diggs and Tank Dell.

 

Steelers took a punch yesterday.

 

It's KC, Bills and Balt. Anyones AFC IMO.

I wouldn’t count out Pit.  That D is tough. Hopefully Balt and Pitt kick the crap out of each other in Wild Card round.

I would take Houston and Baltimore at home any time. I love the fact that we lost to them in the regular season, and McD and the Bills are great in those “get you back” games.  We won’t lose twice in the same season to those clubs, not at home.

 

On the flip side it’s the very reason i worry about KC.  It’s extremely difficult to beat this version of the Chiefs with Mahomes/Reid twice in a season. I’m not sure anyone has ever done it? Plus they are getting offensive reinforcements back healthy.

We can only hope the Bills do their part and KC gets upset in the divisional round.
