Ravens or Chargers tonight? Consider the playoffs

The entire playoffs is going to be difficult to predict. Let's say it's Bills 2, Texans 4. The Chargers and Ravens are 5 and 6. Bills win and the Texans lose to the 5 seed Chargers and you could very much see a Steelers/Ravens game that could go either way and the Bills would play the 3 seed or the Chargers.

 

If the Chargers are at 6 it could mean the Bills could potentially play the 5 seed Raven. 

 

 

For be the Ravens are the only team I don't want to see and I want to send them to Kansas City in round 2 (of they win). My hope is the Bills get the Steelers in round 2.

I think I want the Chargers.  In my mind no real upside if the Ravens win at this time.

According to the odds website I'm looking at, a Chargers win helps our odds of getting the top seed, which is what I care about most. Baltimore is probably the team I'd least like to see in the playoffs though. I have zero confidence we can stop their offense. I'd love a bye but I'd also love to avoid a Wild Card weekend match-up against Baltimore.

I like the Chargers players, but hate the Spano's family!!

 

I lived in San Diego a long time & was part of the vote to say no to that new stadium extortion the Spano's family pulled.

 

I can't pull for that team. How the hell San Diego doesn't have a team & a Superbowl location about every 5-10 years is a travesty.

If the ravens lose tonight the playoffs will start becoming interesting. It's not a guarantee they make it with the remaining schedule 

 

Although I honestly want Baltimore to come to buffalo in January. I think we would boat race them

They would get crushed in Buffalo.

Both are difficult match ups. Torn a bit. Lamar tends to shrink in the playoffs and you could say the Chargers are a team that historically comes unraveled  but Harbaugh erases that image in my opinion. The playoffs will be difficult this year. No easy outs. We will need to be better, hopeful with how healthy the roster is getting.

This Is where 95% of casual fans don't understand the nuance of the game  and I'm not specifically talking about you either.. this is just a general statement

 

Every single player on an NFL roster 1 through 52 has a lot of talent including the practice squad 

 

What separates the difference is, scheme fit, coaching , and repetition 

 

Outside of the top five percent that are all pros.. and 10% that are pro bowlers 

 

There's about 80% of the league that are extremely equal and it comes down to coaching opportunities and fit... The other 10% percent are typically ascending players to pro bowl status

Reading how some posters are afraid of the ravens makes me eye roll. 

 

Yeah, it was an ugly game early in the season.  I think the Bills coaches and players realize they did not have a good showing, learned some lessons, and moved on.

 

If the Bills truly need to fear the ravens, then they aren't going to, much less win the superbowl.  A superbowl win is the only thing that matters.  Everything else is a participation trophy.

Exactly it was the ravens Super Bowl and the bills were just holding back in case they play in the playoffs 😂🤣
