davefan66 Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Toy Story would be my favorite Disney type movie. Miracle is my favorite non-traditional Disney movie. Kurt Russell was great in that movie! 1 Quote
BarleyNY Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Love Pixar’s stuff overall. They’ve been somewhat Disney-fied since they got bought, but they’re still good. The older stuff is all top shelf IMO. Finding Nemo might be on my top 10 movies all time 1 Quote
Pecos Bills Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Sword in the Stone (1963) and Robin Hood (1973) are my all time favorite Disney animated movies, and Big Hero 6 is my favorite since I've had kids. 1 Quote
LewPort71 Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Mary Poppins was the first movie where I had to pay "adult" price as a 12 year old. Of the animated films, Little Mermaid is a favorite as my daughters enjoyed it so much when we saw it in the theater. Old Yeller from my youth is a favorite. Who doesn't cry at the end? Quote
Mark Vader Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Fantasia. My all-time favorite Disney movie. I was fascinated by it as a child. One of the greatest art movies ever made. Pinocchio. Great songs, great characters, great story. Frightening at how dark it is. The Jungle Book. "I Want to be Like You" might be the greatest song in a Disney movie ever. The Little Mermaid. Ursula is a great villain. The songs are fantastic, and there are lots of funny moments in this movie. Aladdin. Jafar and Iago are a great villainous duo, and Robin Williams is superb as the Genie. The Lion King. You've got James Earl Jones & Jeremy Irons as lions, what more do you need? Toy Story 2 & Toy Story 3. Yes, I like the entire series, but 2 & 3 are masterpieces. Finding Nemo. Magical and hilarious. Wall-E. Great story. Up. Incredible movie filled with great drama and comedy. Quote
coloradobillsfan Posted November 26 Posted November 26 I'll add one that no one will know; it doesn't look, sound, or feel like a Disney movie but it was distributed by them in 1983. It's called Never Cry Wolf, and it helped inspire me to move out West (not the Arctic though, Buffalo was cold enough). Quote
Orlando Buffalo Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Miracle and Lion King for me. I also have an appreciation for Cars and Frozen because they were kids favorites and now when I see them I get all nostalgic. 1 Quote
