Italian Bills Posted November 25 Posted November 25 (edited) It seems that every year the fanbase is who care the most about Josh winning it, more than Josh himself and more than the Bills organization. What you think ? Edited November 25 by Italian Bills Quote

US Egg Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Makes for conversation. Players like recognition. I could care less, glorified participation trophies. 1 Quote
BillsPride12 Posted November 25 Posted November 25 He will never come out and publicly say it but I am sure deep down Josh wants to earn an MVP. You can't tell me winning the Most Valuable Player award at the highest level of your sport wouldn't mean anything to him But I feel like it's something that would also mean a lot to the fans as well. We haven't had an MVP winner since 1991. All the suffering through the drought years with B level players. It would definitely mean something 2 5 Quote

chongli Posted November 25 Posted November 25 The Bills organization would love it, as it means more money for them...but, of course, that is not the main goal for them, or Josh. Quote
MikePJ76 Posted November 25 Posted November 25 The fans and I will never understand why. I hope they give the mvp again to lamar, I simply couldn't care less about the award as a fan. 1 2 1 Quote
zow2 Posted November 25 Posted November 25 I never cared about MVP, ever. The only reason i care now is because I want Josh to leave his Bills career with something special. Winning the Super Bowl is obviously the goal, but even a team having a fantastic season may not win the SB. You could have a key injury at the worst time, or maybe the kicker shanks a game winning FG. It takes all 3 phases and some luck to win the Bowl. But the MVP is in his grasp right now. There's a lot of momentum to award it to Josh. Quote
chongli Posted November 25 Posted November 25 The winning QB of Buffalo at Detroit will win the MVP, or so some pundits say. Quote

MJS Posted November 25 Posted November 25 I'm not sure we can know who cares the most as we don't know how much Josh Allen or the Bills organization care about it. Plus, not all fans care about it, and some care a lot. Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted November 25 Posted November 25 The fans. The MVP award and really any post season awards are the "Hallmark Holiday" or the football world. Look at some of the names that have a vote in the awards. That idiot Acho is one of them. It's always been a bunch of bull####, unless you think Wayne Fontes and Dick Jauron were legit coaches of the year. The media gets too caught up in what the narrative is at the end of the year and votes accordingly. Quote
Don Otreply Posted November 25 Posted November 25 It became a popularity contest years ago, it no longer is a most valuable player, as to the degree a player in fact carries their team, if that was the case, certain player we all know and luv, would likely not have two MVP awards…, just sayin, 1 Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted November 25 Posted November 25 My number one reason for wanting Josh to be regular season MVP is because I put money on it, but it would also mean the Bills have a really good record which is a nice ancillary benefit. Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted November 25 Posted November 25 (edited) The fans and organization will make the most noise about it publicly but make no mistake, It’ll mean a lot to Allen. Allen has always been an underdog. Winning an award like that will mean a lot. Edited November 25 by Buffalo_Stampede Quote
Straight Hucklebuck Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Mike Schopp cares the most. Because he literally talks betting odds for that award every single opportunity he can. Quote
