Packers have won 6 of their last 7. Which I’d say is pretty good football as well. And it’s in GB, with temps in the 20s. Miami is 3.5 underdogs, I don’t doubt it could be close. But I’ll believe it when I see it with Miami. Lots of history against them with this current regime. They don’t win in the cold and they very rarely beat good teams.

This is the first time since my wife and I started dating that NINERS and BILLS are facing off haha.  She’s a die hard Niner fan but also supports the Bills when not playing her Niners.

 

She’s bummed her team has had a crap season instead of this being two titans playing this week.  

It will be a first full day in our new house too…should still be fun…at least for me haha 🤣

Congrats!! Yeah it's been kinda surprising the way the 49ers have been thus far. I wonder what the main reason for it? Injuries always plays a part, but even then it's still surprising a little bit since they have struggled a bit more than I would have thought.

Im honestly not too worried about Purdy. I think we have a good enough defense. Its also possible Milano is back. I think people have forgotten how good Carter was before going on IR too and while he may not come back, I do believe its possible to take him off IR for this game if hes ready enough. Not likely but ya never know.  On offense Coleman might be back and Cooper is probably in better shape. Kincaid probably back. Probably have Brown back. I think we're good man.

 

Either way I am confident in McD, Babbich, and this D to get the job done.

Ya fair points. You're absolutely right that logic would point to Miami losing , as they historically suck in the cold.

 

Just got a weird feeling they are going to snap losing in the cold streak Thursday.

Their defense has been the bigger surprise as most their injuries have been on offense.  It’s definitely under performing and with the offense so banged up it’s just been a struggle for them.

Tua is playing very well and getting better each week. 

Only a biased fan would say they're not worthy of respect.

Thursday will day a lot about them,  if Green Bay handles them,  then you may be right in your assessment. But they are a challenge because of their offense.

 

If Miami wins this game against a legitimate Superbowl contender in Green Bay against an awesome QB in love imo in 20 degree weather and lower temps with wind chill I'll be very surprised. I just don't see it 

 

I don't think tua has the guts to win this game...Jmo. maybe that's me being an a hole but that's how I feel. He completely turtled in the KC playoff game. It was one of the saddest games I've ever watched 

 

If they do I'll respect them. I've never seen them win this game in the tua era for Miami

Yeah I get it, it's just still somehwhat surprising that to see them at 5-6. Considering all those issues I would have predicted either 7-4 or 6-5. Just wouldn't have thought they'd be below .500 at this point in the season anyway.

That is fair. They would be 7-4 if tua didn't get hurt and maybe it's a different conversation.

I’m too jaded to think this is the year.  But I’m having a great time seeing these guys ball out.  I’m just along for the ride and f-it where this is headed.  I’m one with the universe and letting each game just come to me.  I’ll be at the 49ers game this Sunday (traveling from Virginia and hoping I don’t get stuck in a snow drift).   Looking forward to a great game and and time with my fellow bills fans and family!

If a team is ever that fragile that they can’t handle some Negative press, there’s no way they are coming into Buffalo and winning

In the past this would worry me. These days nothing really worries since the Bills are an elite team. Teams should be worried about Buffalo.

Exception: Derek Henry. He is phenomenal. Don’t want to face him.

They will come out with the best effort they have, no doubt. It’s basically a year ending game for them. But it’s not a really easy spot for them either.  Purdy banged up and the injuries, east coast trip, then factor us off the bye, getting as healthy as we have been all season. We certainly haven’t seen our best yet. It will be exciting to see Coleman and Kincaid back with a with Copper getting more acclimated along with Milano playing for the first time in forever. Hell, we saw like what,2-3 games of Bernard and Milano? This is must see TV just seeing all our guys playing. It might be the healthiest we have been this late in the year in McD’s tenure. We should take care of business here.

just a heads up to everyone. Sometime today Amazon is releasing a doc called “it’s in the game.” Supposed to be about legendary coach, the tech start up, and madden nfl. 
 

I know I grew playing the game. Would be interesting seeing the history. I got an email about it. Just letting others know in case they were interested.
