Good question; As mentioned earlier, there is still one vacant roster spot, so they’ll need to move two players to activate all 3. There is no guarentee they’ll need all three right this moment. It’s possible they allow Grable another week or two to heal up right, avoiding any roster moves and maximizing the 21 day window. I imagine they’ll want Milano and Carter back ASAP. That means one guy on the move, and I would imagine it’s a DT, likely one we can add back to the PS…so maybe Jefferson or Phillips. (edit: thinking more about this, I think it’ll be Phillips that gets cut as Jefferson has been in on some pass rush packages in the Smoot role at DT that I think they’ll like to continue) When Grable returns, I would think they’ll waive Will Clapp, as he was the signing when the injury first occurred with the idea to re-sign him to the PS. Possibly Jalen Virgil back to the PS also Edited November 28 by EmotionallyUnstable 4 3 Quote

ChasBB Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Hoping to see Davis take a decent share of snaps on Sunday. I think his straight-ahead running style could be an advantage on a snowy field. 1 3 Quote
BigAl2526 Posted November 28 Posted November 28 We were planning to visit my mother-in-law either the day after Thanksgiving or on Saturday. That's not happening. She lives in the heart of the area expected to get three to four feet. Still looking manageable for Orchard Park in that map. Road crews in southern Erie County surely are accustomed to moving a couple feet of snow over 3 days. Quote

They are accurate as they can be based on the data that they have which is constantly changing up until the day it gets closer. The models aren't the problem, the data that changes as the storm evolves is the tricky unknown part. Hell no...Fun story...when I was deciding which school to go to for Meteorology it was down between Saint Louis University and University of Oklahoma and both were top 10 at the time for it... Got accepted to both and was reading the stuff they sent about the programs when I read the one from Oklahoma it said that senior year you had to take part in a program with the National Tornado Center also based in Norman, OK where you essentially chased tornados and set up the equipment to get measurements, etc... I was out as soon as I read that...when I see a tornado I am running the other way, not towards it 🤣 I hear ya...they're scary as F, but it's one of the true wonders of weather. OK is the world capital of tornados. Quote
Richard Noggin Posted November 28 Posted November 28 5 hours ago, BigAl2526 said: My guess is they are not considering that possibility at the moment. The talk is that more snow is expected south of Orchard Park than at the stadium up to and including the game. Of course, that is subject to change. The other bit of conversation is that this is expected to be a multi-day lake effect event. Total snowfall could be a few feet, but that could be over a span of five or six days. Those who plow snow will be busy, but it is easier to manage that kind of snow total over five or six days than over three days. I'm sure that travel will a messy proposition, but I don't think it will shut things down to the extent that it has for some past snow events. Can't imagine a scenario where this one gets moved. The main concern for gameday logistics is travel/road conditions on game day, I guess, but moreover it's how many parking spots are taken up by snow removal and storage?! The snowfall projections don't seem to be too extreme, all things considered. On the other hand, that divisional round playoff game last year (Chiefs 1/21) resulted in unprecedented parking chaos. Traffic was extreme, even from the easy western/rt 5 approach. Many lots had reduced capacity due to NOWHERE TO PUT THE EFFING SNOW, and filled early or shut down completely. The private lots that could fit more cars were charging triple digit prices (though there isn't a great real-time resource for Bills game private parking availability, that I'm aware of, so inbound traffic was exhibiting herd behavior and bottlenecking badly as they approached Abbot from either direction without an observable plan). I dropped off my old-ass mom near the Lot 4 entrance (all lots on Southwestern were closed/full AF based on the signs) and flipped a U-turn to find ANYthing. Ended up being an early part of the final rush (of dozens or hundreds) of people to fill up the unauthorized strip mall parking lots on corner of McKinley Pkwy and Southwestern. The only "spaces" left were behind the buildings, near the dumpsters, and otherwise not at all valid parking spaces. I remember a Picasso's employee opening the back door behind my car, slapping his forehead, and calling a coworker back to look. We all just had to hope that "they can't tow us all" and "they shouldn't tow any of us tbh" given the lack of actionable logistic resources available to us, the (high) paying guests. SO much brisk walking in snow boots LOL to not miss kickoff. 4 hours ago, Big Turk said: I wouldn't call them inaccurate.
