I was mad at the Raiders for about two minutes and then I realized that used to be us. Bad teams do bad things.

I've been reminded of this repeatedly over the last week.  Almost every team I wanted to win was a bad team and watching them is so frustrating and annoying.  How did we do it for so many years?

Even with Purdy playing, ya'll like the Bills odds?

I think it will be mostly a running attack by SF and dink and dunk throws for Purdy.  If the 49ers can stop turning the ball over they may hang in there with possession time.

If the Bills offense is really efficient in “our” weather, i think Buffalo will win by 13-17 pts.

Said it earlier this week that purdy is playing and to take the 6.5 points but everyone laughed at me. The Niners said as much but noone on here wanted to listen.

They’re still laughing.  The line has now moved all the way to -6.🤣

This isn’t how lake effect works.

It can be since oftentimes there are wind direction changes that move the bands over different areas so places that are getting hit now might get a lengthy break in between, especially with long lasting events.

Typically bands start in the South towns and/or southern tier, then will move north, then move back south again before ending.

Doesn't always happen, but it happens quite a bit.

He played against Seattle and put up 13 points against a defense we scored 34 on and against whom we were moving the ball at will most of the game.

I think we will be fine. They have been mostly not good on offense this year.

It's less likely but at that point it comes down to a timing thing as to when it falls. Seems like mostly will be tomorrow and they will have all day Sunday to get it taken care of so it's unlikely, but if the bands don't move like they expect it could be interesting.

Although now it looks like it will be there for part of the day Sunday as well:

"Saturday

Snow showers likely before 8am, then snow after 8am. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. High near 31. West wind 13 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.

Saturday Night

Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 23. Southwest wind 13 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 10 to 16 inches possible.

Sunday

Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. High near 31. Southwest wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible."

Anywhere from 21-35 inches over a day and a half roughly.

I think it’s more public response to snow events has just changed in recent years.  I don’t think he meant he thinks it should change rather that he thinks it will.  The powers that be may push for that.

the nfl does not want a Sunday night game moved in time.  I don’t think it will move but you never know.

My snow-dar alert peaks when I hear Jim Cantorie thunder predicted!

NFL fan reaction to CLE snow was impressive—looks great on tv but they gots the dome coming to save the other mistake on the lake.

It’s funny, I lived in Buffalo from 1984-1994 and I don’t remember there ever being any major snow events that threatened to move a Bills’ game…now it happens almost every season.  Is my memory faulty?

I actually seen one of these a couple weeks ago during halftime of the Arkansas - LSU game it was really cool.

Seems like there would be a prop bet on whether the drone show will be held.

49ers are enroute to Buffalo on United Airlines flt# 3818.  It’s a Boeing 777 scheduled to land at 11:45pm.
Not sure if they were planning to arrive late Friday night or if they left a day early to beat the worsening weather.

Good luck and Godspeed to our opponents.

The Bills are the better team.

But...I think the 49ers offense matches up well against our defense.

Our offense needs to put up at least 30 to win imo. No Allen turnovers. Unfortunately, he has begun to turn the ball over a bit lately.

With respect to those that like them, I HATE watching my team play in snow games.

I hate the injury risk.

I hate how much it equalizes talent between good and bad teams.

I hate how it removes large swatch’s of the offensive playbook.

I like watching *other* teams play in it … but not my own.

Other than Purdy playing with likely a less than 100% shoulder, the rest of the injury news for the 49ers is pretty much brutal.

Bosa, Lenoir, Williams, Banks and Elliot all out...

Greenlaw too, but nobody was expecting him to play as his window just opened up coming off IR.

Several others are questionable.

Lots of NFL players say weather like snow slows down a defense more than an offense

They have to react to a play they don't know

The offense has ALL the advantages.. they know the snap count , and where they are going

"I think it's typically to the offensive advantage if you know where you're going when the field is a little bit slippery, whether it's rainy or cold, or frozen even," Daniels said. "It's less of a reactionary movement, where I think there's more slipping when you're just kind of reacting to someone else moving or cutting somewhere."

Schwartz, who continues to study the game since retiring from the sport, said one of the reasons he loves playing in the snow is that it provides an advantage for the offense.

"The snow does favor the offense because we're the ones who know where we're going and the defense is very reactionary. And when their footing is bad, they don't move as fast we do," Schwartz said

Sure does sunny and 85 sound great ,sure

But bad teams let weather be a excuse ... Good teams go out and execute

Yet you never see a 41-38 score in a snow game…

Theyre always 13-7 or something similar 😂

Only high scoring snow game I can think of is that Eagles game in the early 2000’s.
