I’m from the old skool and think they should be played as scheduled.

But either way my question is valid, they are starting to move games every year now and it supposed to snow

They are not moving Buffalo Bills games every year now

Three games in 10 years have been postponed to weather... Two regular season games were moved to a different city

The playoff game was rescheduled in Buffalo

Three games because of weather in a decade

It’s cool to follow the money. It’s also cool you to cement your legacy as a champion. It’s not always possible to do both.

I guess very few of the players care about legacy, those do not until late into their career if they still have a choice. How many legacy soccer (more popular world wide) players you can name? Mike Tyson is certainly better known name than Montana, Brady etc. world wide. He may not be the nicest guy in the world but he’s a lot smarter than people give him credit for. I agree with what he said about legacy recently: "Man, I don't know. I don't believe in the word legacy. I just think that's another word for ego. That's just some word everybody grabbed onto. Now it's used every five seconds. It means absolutely nothing to me. I'm just passing through, I'mma die, and then it's going to be over. Who cares about legacy after that? We're the big eagles, so I'mma die. I want people to think that I'm this, I'm great. No, we're nothing. We're just dead. We're dust. We're absolutely nothing. Our legacy is nothing."

You do know the NFL doesn’t work like that right?

Say what you will but this is a very strong candidate for a 20+ point win right here

Buffalo...and they never had 7 foot lake snow events.

Yes, that was due to whiteout conditions due to heavy lake snow falling while 30+ mph winds were blowing with 50+ mph gusts.

Nobody should be out driving in that and don't give me "this is Buffalo" nonsense.  The only people out driving in that are idiots and people who end up in ditches on the side of the road calling for help.

nah they just couldn’t shovel the seats enough.

Multi-billion dollar enterprise and they are still cheap enough to ask for volunteers

No, it was a whiteout. Go back and read the news coverage of the day.  Or watch the clips of the videos they showed inside the stadium during when the game was supposed to be played showing the conditions.  It's really irritating when people want to sit around and argue about things that they could easily go and look up but rely on "I know what happened" instead...apparently you don't.

Fun to watch on TV but weather forecasts like this weekend are awful for out of towners coming in for the game. The stress and anxiety just ramps up, on how weather will affect travel.

Was debating going and this swung me to no…bummer

I'm hoping this stays farther south (extreme southern Erie county and down).  I don't like that 4-6 ft map though- uncomfortably close.  The drive home to VA on Monday is going to suck regardless.  I can deal with a little snow for the game but I am really hoping not to get snowed in for days where even getting to the game is in  question.

I think that forecasts of 4-6 feet are a bit extreme, especially since snow bands tend to move as the winds change directions.   According to Storm Team 2 at 11 tonight about 1 to 2 feet of snow is expected between Friday and Monday with most of it falling in the southern part of Erie County and Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties, and the heaviest snow coming on Friday and Saturday.  By Sunday, the weather system that will spawn the lake effect will be moving out, which usually means the winds should be diminishing and coming more from the west/north west which will snow again well south of the stadium.

During the previous 7 foot events the initial forecast was for 12-18" both times. That kept growing and growing and growing as the forecast got updated.  Went from 12-18" to 18-24" to 24-30" to 36-42" to 48-60" to up to 7 feet.

Saw it and laughed hard seeing as the interview was conducted by a child. Kid handled it like a gen z pro though!

That's true but ones where the Lake Temp is near record highs in the low 50s in mid November to early December often times are.

Just outta curiosity, how did you get to this depth of knowledge on Buffalo snow? Pretty cool stuff.
